We are having a family photo today..

We always take a photo. Once a year around my daughters birthday. So this will be her 5 yr.photo. At the same time, we do one of the 3 of us. This will be the last for the family OF 3. Soon we will be four. Do you take an annual photo? Do you try and coordinate outfits?

I don't think I'd do the whole coordinating outfits thing. But I think professional photos of the family will be very nice to look back on later down the road. In fact, I think the art of putting together a photo album is very important. Actual printed photos with captions and all that.

I would love to take a Photo every year. I would be happy with once every few years. Me and my hubby doesn't have a photo really together at all and that is being together over 18 years.It is good that you have that tradition. Do you buy the school pictures then since you do a family picture yearly?If we took pictures I am sure we would try to cordinate so we wouldn't clash in the photo and make it horrid looking..with us in it it would be horrid looking enough..lol

I would love to have a family photo done too. I have gained weight though and have put it off. I have a few blemishes on my face also and I hate to have my picture taken. there are three of us in my family also. It is me, my husband and my 16 year old daughter.

we haven't taken a family photo yet. we've been talking about doing it though. i wish we would have done it from the beginning because then you could see our family grow. now the only thing that has grown is mommy after 3 kids. which is why i've been avoiding getting a picture done. i think i want to do it this fall though and we can give them to everyone for christmas. i think i'll probably try to coordinate outfits somehow.

We did when my son was younger but we don't do it now.. His new wife's grandmother had a business like Glamour shots, so she has a professional camera and they take pictures constantly.. The walls of their homes are covered in family photos.. Every room in the house has photos, the computer has thousands of photos on it, and the flash drives are full also.. I would go broke if I got all of them developed.. I have over 1200 pictures of their wedding and more of their few married months after the wedding.. So, I see no need to take professional photos anymore, I can't keep up with the ones that I have now..
