I think it is terrible that all of these companies are being sold to the highest international bidder. Anheuser-Busch is an American company and it should stay and American company.

I don't know enough to say much. However, AB used to be an American and St. Louis tradition. It is now no longer and American company. That makes me feel differently and a little sad. But I don't think America really sold a part of itself. It was just market pressures and all that. The US government can't be expected to personally interfere in things like this, right?

I think that's just the way the world of business works. We Americans might not be thrilled to see one of our companies taken over by an overseas company, but it's not like American companies don't do a lot of business overseas also. Sometimes overseas companies turn out to be big employers here in the USA like Toyota so it's not necessarily bad for the economy either.
