Who Would Make A Better United States President?  |

 Politics. The United States. Two elements that when put together spark debate across every region of the world. But the question is- who would make a better United States President. There is Barack Obama, a junior senator of Illinois, who could be the first African-American president that the United States has seen. Then, there is John McCain, who could be the oldest elected president ever in the United States.
Surely one can look past those distinctive differences and look at what the presidents can bring to the table. There is Barack Obama who can bring a new kind of fresh politics that is not saturated by Washington, and their is McCain, who brings old, conventional mentality back into Washington.
So- who would make the better president?

What we need is a non republican or democrat president, maybe that way things would actually change in this damn country.

This is a poor year for presidential material. I don't think either will make a good president.
It's sad, but as someone else said, they all have the same money and play the same game of politics. I don't have much respect for any politician. Do you suppose we could just skip having a president for awhile, 'til someone shows up who is worthy of the office?

From hearing about them I believe they both have some positibe aspects as well as negative...what scares me with mc cain is the fear of another republican,and the same old stuff we have seen before.Now obama is definitly a fresh start, but I hope that he wouldnt make race an issue himself...b/c of hearing about the story with the two young girls playing in the tree and the monkey comment.That was unneccesarily blown up. Oberall though, I would go for obama...He appears honest,at least as honest as can be in the world of politics!
