Well, for me, I prefer Tshirts with sayings on them or pictures on them over the plain ones unless they are the more dressier ones I can also wear with some of my nicer skirts as well. If I was a crafty type person I would be one who would buy the plain ones, as they are usually cheaper, and then add a decoration or something to them as well.

I've done that before when I was younger. Bought plain t-shirts and used puffy paints to make cool designs. And sequins. But then I got sad when the washing machine ruined them.

Hello pigles, I have a t shirt with sequins too, but I am very careful with it. I wash all my clothes by hand so i dont have to worry about ruining the desings. I like that single t shirt that I have coz it really unique and its very cute.

I prefer just about everything plain, instead of printed. I am not interested in a lot of patterns and designs that are just going to hurt my eyes anyway, because I can't see them.

I usually go for plain t-shirts because plain colors never get old, but prints can become dated and in the future prove to be unwearable. But I do have a few cool shirts with prints. Lately I've been buying way too many tops.

I prefer wearing plains rather that prints... just like you... i feel cleaner when using plain clothes... and they are easier to match with other clothes... most of my prints were just given as gifts... because i rarely buy them... even if they are on sale...

OMG! I was just talking about this very thing on another discussion a few days ago when I was talking about reinventing myself. This is unbelievable!! See, I used to be into florals. I wore floral patters on everything. Then one day I was thinking about making some changes and this coincided with a sale at Nordstroms and the rest, as they say, is history!!!! It was simply one of those pivotal events in my life when I knew I had to make a major change no matter the risks and it was one of the best things I've EVER done! So, yes yes yes, I prefer plain tshirts over those with prints. Thank you for such an awesome discussion!! :)

Most of mine are plain but sometimes I like a pattern. Somehow I have ended up with mostly plain ones.

I don't have a real preference although if I look at the t-shirts I have, they are mostly plain and I have only a few with prints. I guess because solid colors are easier to coordinate than prints. It also depends on the kind of prints. Some are nice and complement the rest of the clothes, some are just .... too busy LOL too many things
