Started selling Avon

Hello all so I started selling Avon 2 weeks ago to try to make a little extra money. I put my first order in and they messed it up. I order 30 books and they sent me 150. WOW what a big difference huh. SO I called my manger to tell her about but she wasn't home so I'm waiting for her to call me back so I can return these books. I'm getting ready to go pass out my books for this week. If you guys like Avon you can go to my page and click the link under my picture and order so Avon. Thanks to all.

what a big mess up. they better make it right with you and not make you pay cause that's out of your pocket you poor dear. i hope they are good to you about it.

Yeah and I re counted they sent me 300 books instead of 30 books what a big differnce....huh

Wow, that's a big mistake. I haven't bought any Avon products in years. Am always afraid to use anything on my skin that is different. I have had such awful problems with skin cancer in the past. I wish you the best of luck with your Avon business. I'll remember to go to your profile page if I have a need for Avon.

Thanks for the commet carolbee! I can ask my manger about if you could use any of are products with you having skin cancer before. I'm really not sure since I just started. They have alot of cute stuff on sale right now.

I've thought about selling avon, but I don't think it would do so well in my area. Its a small area and people are all strapped for money. I thought I could do well with my own website, but you only make 10% commission from the website and that just isn't worth it for me. Good luck with it though, I hope you do well.

Sorry to hear about the mistake! I am a sales leader for Avon in the UK and sometimes they do make mistakes but they will sort it out. The last thing Avon want is for representatives to be out of pocket so I am glad that your manager sorted it out for you. Good luck with your new Avon business.

I sell Avon as well, did you check your invoice to see if in fact you were charged for the books. You get 10 books for $5.75, so did you put 3 on the order form? Just checking to see how it could have gotten messed up. in order to get 150 books, 15 would have been in that little box.

Yes,they charged me I re counted and they sent me 300 books not 30 books. My manger is returning them for me. They took it off my account. So I'M really happy about that. Thanks for the comment!! T_Katt*
