Would any one out there happen to know a good solution to these darn fleas?I have tried bio spot. This was like frontline you put a drop on the cats shoulder blade, and it was suppose to work, however,it seems that they are still here! do u also need to spray or bomb the house? what works for anyone that has had this problem?

You need to bomb the house, at least every two weeks per directions on the bombs. There are also ultra sonic pest repellers that work wonderfully at getting rid of not only fleas but also ants, spiders, flies, mosquitoes and mice. I prefer the ultra sonic repellers over using poisons by a long shot. I used a flea spray on one of my cats and it darn near killed her.
Also, remember to use something in your vacuum cleaner bag! When you vacuum you suck up the flea eggs and they will hatch in your vacuum cleaner and re-infest the house!!! It would be more than a bit annoying to have finally gotten rid of the fleas and then have them back just from hatching in the vacuum.

I never even thought of that, fleas in the vacuum, thanx alot.I didnt think that the fleas could live off the host(cat),but now I feel like the host! And I feel terrible for my cat too.I will definitely get the bombs!

You need to get some thing better like Advantage or Revolution. They take care of fleas and eggs. In our experience the over the counter stuff doesn't work.
You need to vacuum daily, put salt on the floor leave it for at least 30 minutes) then vacuum. Wash you linens - anything you can't wash vacuum. Bathe your cat. Don't let your cat inside.

Well I have this same problem. I do not even know where the fleas came from because my cat never goes outdoors at all except to go to the vet,get groomed, and when I go on vacation.I too have tried everything. The vet put frontline on him, this did not work. I put bombs off in the house, this did not work, I bath him every week in flee bath stuff, diped him, to no avail. I have even used advantage.

You need to check the biospot you used to make sure that it not only kills the fleas, it also kills the eggs, thus breaking the flea life cycle. In addition, you need to treat your house at the same time. Fleas can live in carpets, upholestry, and the cat's bedding. I know they have sprays and "bombs" for this. If it gets too out of control, I would contact your vet as they can give the cat a flea dip and make sure that your cat is okay. Good luck. I've had fleas in the house before and they are not fun to get rid of.
