Update On Dads Fall  |

 Well as expected dads hand does not look any better. As the Dr said after a few days it will look worse. It seems to be getting smaller as far as swelling goes. But it is still nasty looking. Dad says it doesn't hurt him today. So I took off the bandage and ace bandage as well till tonight when he goes to bed. Well just wanted you all to know his hand is doing okay. As usual, here's a photo of it.

Maybe he needs one of those walkers that also has a seat, so he can sit on it if he has to stand in line. You are doing the right care, I think.

He fell when I left to get my wife and I found him in the hallway when we got home. he got up to use the toilet. Well he used it all right. I had a nice mess to clean up that night. Ewwww! I am talking with him about buying a new walker. He has one thats really new so he doesn't want to spend the cash. he isn't going to be going out anytime soon he says. Oh well. Thanks.

4.  dianel (4231) | 3 months ago |  I dont know if the doctor told you but vitimin c tablets work very well in getting it to heal faster. I use to bruse very easy, now I dont I take 1000 mg of vitiman c a day. It does not store in the body so you cant take too much.

I will have to mention this to her about the vitamin c and see if she takes any other than what she drinks and eats that has it but it sure does look like at least one of the doctor's would have told her that don't it? I guess you have a ramp and railings so he does not fall again. I hope he gets better and get around. It is terrible when someone falls down, especially when he does not have the strength anymore.
