Wake up wake up! The age-old time zone question! (Friends encouraged to reply)

Thank you I think that's about 3:30 in terms of what I'd call it, I use a 12 hour clock and not 24. Of course I don't know if you posted right after I started the discussion or not, I'll take a look at a timezone map so I can figure out where everybody is.

I do all right with 1, 2, or 3 hours difference from me but it's hard when I post often with someone who is like a day ahead or behind lol. It's especially challenging if they work an odd shift or are only home in the afternoons during the week, that's when I tend to be gone.

In California, southwest. I have lived most of my life in the PST zone lol. I was in PST before when I lived in Washington.

Did you let Wendy know this is where I disappeared to? She probably thinks I dropped off the planet. She was having trouble accessing Yuwie without having her computer go nuts, and I haven't talked to her recently since I stopped visiting there.

The majority of people I visited with at other sites were also in EST, I got used to them calling me lazy when I didn't get up till 7 am and it was 10 over there lol.

She said she forgot about myLot, I have a feeling we'll be hearing from her over here. Yuwie is awful lately, all those ads. I have RR Turbo, which is very fast and still, because of those stupid ads, it takes longer to get anywhere. I hardly go there because of it.

I hope she comes to visit, did she already have an account here? Does she only have a landline or can she text? I know that has nothing to do with this topic but I thought of it because I could chat with her that way quite easily!

When I have insomnia I'm up too late and then I can't get up when I want to, which is usually when my husband leaves for work - about 5. That's why I'm on in the mornings here, that's my time because daughter is asleep, son heads to school, and hubby is at work. I get on other times of day if I'm home but the only guarantee is the morning. I'm not a REAL morning person, it's not like I'm cheerful or even feel better in the AM, I have evolved to be because otherwise I can't sit on the computer for a couple hours uninterrupted lol.

If you get up at 5 am your time, that should be 8 my time. I seldom sleep past 8.

Yesterday my daughter did not even wake up till 10 AM... lol! Usually she's up between 7 and 8.

Yes yes, I appear to be the late one even though I do wake up early. Some folks are a day ahead of me lol. It looks like you're one of them

I don't really understand why it has to be a different time everywhere, it FEELS like the same time to our bodies, know what I mean? Fortunately I don't travel across time zones very often, in fact I haven't done that in a long time. I'd be asking for everybody's best jet lag cures if I was about to, but the trip next week will be contained to PST, if I'm tired it's my own fault!

I suppose it might have something to do with where you are on the planet though, obviously if it's 5:30 pm somewhere else, it is getting dark while for me it's 5:30 AM and getting light.
