Hello all my fellow myLotters! I just discovered that Walgreens is offering a $10 off a $40 purchase this Friday and Saturday only. That is August 29th and August 30th only. You can get the coupon on the Walgreens website at www.walgreens.com

I went there last week when they had the $5.00 off $20 and I will go there again tomorrow. It is a great deal when you combine it with coupons and sales too!

Thanks Schulzie,Thats a good deal. Am I reading it right that you can't use it on prescriptions? I get my meds at Walgreens so it would be great if I could. I also buy a lot of other stuff there too so I think I can still use it. If you find anymore coupons like this please post it. Thanks again.

Thank you! My mom spends about $400 a month on prescriptions and this will help a bit. I can't imagine having to spend that much on medicine but get this--if she didn't have prescription coverage, she'd be spending 4 times that amount!

Oh, man! Don't get me started on prescription costs! I understand what you're saying loud and clear, dragon! I spend about $350.00 a month on prescriptions WITH prescription coverage. It's insane!!! But, that's another topic for another discussion. I won't rant here.

Go ahead and start a discussion, mentalward! I'll jump in, too. I read yesterday about a company refusing to develop a medicine for macular degeneration because it wouldn't cost much. Instead they're pushing the other medicine that costs 10x as much!

Thanks so much for the heads up on this, schulzie! I doubt I'd have ever known about it if I hadn't read this post.
I will usually go to a product's website, if I have a specific product in mind that I want or need to buy, before going to the store. A lot of manufacturers put coupons on their websites that you wouldn't always see in a magazine or newspaper. I've saved a lot of money this way.
But, I never thought about going to a store's website before! That is awesome! That's 25% off of everything in the store, well, if you buy $40.00 worth of stuff and that's extremely easy to do these days.

While we're on the subject of saving, DelMonte has a coupon on their site for a "buy one get one free" of Harvest Selections entrees, if you're interested. It expires 10/27/08. They might even sell them at WalGreens!
