Too bad, DNC & RNC, you missed the boat. The Green Party has beat you to the punch with a trifecta of "First Woman", "First Black Person" and "First All Black Ticket" of any political party in America. Cynthia McKinney and her Running Mate Rosa Clemente will be on enough state ballots to concieveably win. McKinney accepted the party nomination on Aug 18, so she beat Obama as the First Black Nominee by over a week.

If you notice though, all your hearing in the media, about Obama, is that he is "the first black nominee of a MAJOR PARTY" They don't however mention the green party and their first black nominee. As much as I don't care for the green party's platform, I wish they were getting more press attention as well as the constitution party, the libertarian party. but, they don't because we the voters don't demand it of them. I think we should start a massive email campaign to all the major networks to give them all more coverage. they don't cover them NOT because of the networks agenda, but because they show what sells and that is based on viewer demands. So if we demand it, they will show it.

Not true. Last election the Libertarian candidate was arrested when he showed up to a "presidential debate". It didn't make the press at all. It has nothing to do with "viewer demands", the last thing the incompetent press wants is for the strangle hold the Democrats and Republicans have on American politics.

As far as them trumpeting Obama as the first Black candidate, you might have a point, but then again they are still waiting for the first Woman candidate too, but they aren't willing to admit their lies.

That reminds me of when Alan Keyes was arrested for going to a debate he was not invited to. The press has been trying to hype the democrats by telling a lot of half-truths. They kept saying Hillary was the first woman to run for the presidency too, despite the fact that the first woman to run for president was over a hundred years ago. Although I am not a fan of Cynthia McKinney, I must point out that she is 10 times more qualified than Obama for the job.

It's kinda funny how that little detail slipped right past everyone. I think is was more a conscious choice on their part as they seem to have a pact to do whatever is necessary to get Obama to the White House.

If you believe that, you don't know her, or the Green party much. They consider the Republicans and Democrats criminal organizations.

I meant the media made a conscious choice to leave the green party out. But you're right I don't know much about them. Maybe their attitude on the two major policical parties is not that far off.
