What do you like to eat when the weather turns cold?

Oh, and I LOVE hot chocolate at football games!:) i hope you don't mind me posting twice. I like to talk! hehe

I'm looking forward to fall too. It's may favorite season. As for cold weather foods, I love chili and soup too. But I also love that I can bake again. I don't do much during the summer to keep the house cool. I make a mean choc. chip banana bread!

It's funny you should ask! I talked to my little sister last night...and we were discussing it. Both her, my older sister and I all bought Roast Beef's last week! I guess comfort food like roast and potatoes.....I also love chili! I went on vacation last week up to northern minnesota and we took chili and were very glad we did!

I like things like Beef Stew or Chicken Noodle soup when it is cold outside. A nice hot bown of stew is the best when the weather is cold, chicken noodle soup is good when you have cold too. We eat Chili once in awhile but don't like how spicy it can be.

HotPot, in Winter or in raining day, that's my best choice.

My daughter just told me today that she sure would be glad when it got cold weather so we could cook some chili. I told her that it didn't have to be cold weather to eat chili. When I was 7 years old a family lived beside us and they ate chili all year long. I am thinking about making homemade chili tomorrow even though it is not cold weather here in the south.

I love it when it gets into the cooler weather. I have several favorites for cool/cold days. I love making a big pot of chili, and cornbread to go with it, add a slice of a good onion and you have it. I also like a pot of red beans, with a little link sausage added to it, serve it over rice, yumm. Okay enough bout that my mouth is starting to water and it's not cool enough for those yet lol

When the weather's cold I love hot soup, or nice warm pot-roasted dishes and stews. They're so hearty and make me feel nice and cozy. xD I'm looking forward to fall and winter now, too. I'm ready for a break from hot weather, lol.

It isn't exactly getting cold out here yet, but today I did my grocery shopping and had my menu planned for the next week. Since I just recently moved to a better location that has air conditioning, I can cook again. I couldn't cook much except in winter at my former location because it was a hot mobile home with no a/c. So what did I buy today to make this next week? I bought the stuff to make chili, beef vegetable soup, and beef and noodles. Sounds like good cold weather food to me. Not sure which one I will make first. They are all sounding really good to me right now.

i love homemade soup, chili, chicken & dumplings, chicken & dressing & all that good stuff. oh yeah, throw in some hot cornbread w/that soup.

This summer seemed very short to me. But I like to cook things like meat loaf and I will make more soups this next winter.

I will like to have something spicy and hot. Hehe. Mostly I will prefer tea. Its a great feel to have something hot when its rainy. Hehe. Happy mylotting.

i take alot of coffee to beat off the cold and warm the hands i also do take my foods with chilli to warm up the body system but most of all i like a warm soup or stew home made nothing bought of from the take aways, i would rather make the food myself and i do like spicing my food with garlic curry and alittle chili

I like to have some soup or some hot chocolate, but I very often burn my tongue. It's always nice to have something toasty or hearty, chicken is always good too. I also like to have mashed potatoes, they're warm and easy to eat.
