Health is wealth and it is also one of the main things that we need to be concerned.Well if i have cold or slight fever I dont go ,I try medicating on my own like having hot water, avoid cold drinks and cold items etc.But if the fever is really bad that I am too pale then I make sure that I go to a doctor. Regards

yes dear seeths each one of us learns this earlier the better that health is wealth and to protect the health one can and need to do whatever is important!! yes the doctor needs to step in at the right moment before it is too late. smaller things can be taken care at home or by oneself but so far as the medicine , how insignificant it may be should be avoided! self medication under any circumstances should not be done!

This is an important issue. I have been in the pink of health except for my bp which has been there for ages and seems to be a gone case. I normally doesn't see the doctor not until when I feel every bit of my bones are giving way. That is to say only when I am seriously ill then I have no choice but to seek for medication. So far I have been hospitalized twice throughout my life. One is minor hypertitis A and the second one was stone in the gall bladder. Both are totally cured now.

In my adult life the only time I have gone to the doctor is when I'm pregnant. Otherwise I pretty much avoid them. I like to just stay at home, search for some home remedies and get better on my own.

I would really have to be sick to go to the doctor. If it is something small, I doctor myself - cold, allergies, sinus headaches, etc. I'm not one that goes to the doctor with every little pain. But then I'm not sick often.

I prefer home medication nowadays.I've been to the doctor many times.he has benn giving tablets but the pain goes temporary and comes again.I take my own vitamin supplements and mild pain killers if needed.

hi dear vicky as far as i understand the doc will prescribe only pain relievers and no way to remove the cause of the pain and all these pain relievers are chemicals which will numb your nerves and will not allow the pain to be felt and are more dangerous than the pain itself. so it is better to keep fit and avoid the doctor for petty things. one must try to use the natural way more than the artificial way!!

I take some immediate remedy which should be practical,as you said regarding down,it needs something which a physician may not give.

hi dear chinnu good that you maintain a distance from the doctor. there are instances that the doc has proved to be more dreadful than the disease itself!!

I hate going to the doctor.Though i know they knows best regarding our health.I usually medicate myself at home and then when i feel it doesn't help thats the time i would go to the doctor.I've been healthy and i thank God for that.So i haven't been hospitalized except when i delivered my baby.

Hello Kushank, well I was working in a small clinic here in our place as a part time nurse, so every time I need to consult the doctor, I just ask our Physician there and he'll just prescribe me some medications that is suited for me. I admitmost of the time I just don't feel bothered with my health conditions, since there's a lot of things for me to feel bother. And beside I don't let myself suffered from serious illness because I exercise regularly, I am also eating the right foods.Because I know health is our wealth too, that's why I take care of of it that much. Happy posting.
