I love this film and I love Scarlett O' Hara.
And here are my favorite unforgettable lines from that film:

Scarlett O'Hara: If I ever have to steal and cheat and lie, as God is my witness... I'll never be hungry again!

Scarlett O' Hara: What shall I do now? Tara... there's always Tara... after all, Tomorrow, is another day! (This is what she said after Rhett Butler left her with Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn line)

My favorite scene is when Scarlett made a gown out of their curtains to fool Rhett into thinking that she and her plantation is fine and to fool him into lending her money. Of course, Rhett Butler almost believed her until he felt the callouses on her fingers. I also like the opening scene of the film where Scarlett was flirting with so many guys in a barbecue party.

Oh my gosh, that is my all time favorite movie. And I see from one of your other responses that I'm not the only one that knows this movie so well lol. I love the scene when Rhett is in the Parlor and Scarlett doesn't know he is listening to her conversation, until she throws a vase at the fireplace and breaks it. And she tells him it was rude of him to not let his presence be known. I have always loved the grandeur of Tara. I also love the scene when Scarlet has sent Prissy (I can't believe I'm not sure of the name lol) to go get the doctor, and she comes back just taking her time, humming......and the line 'I don't know nuthin bout birthin no babies'.

If you want to see another really good classic, get a copy of Leave Her to Heaven. It is wonderful.

That's my favorite line, my next favorite is "I'll think about that tomorrow". That line has gotten me through a lot of bad days when I could not possibly face one more crisis and getting through today was all that mattered! I call them my Scarlet O'Hara days.

I loved that book because it was a very long read so it began to explain the complex nature of humans.

Oh, I have one. The part where they're going to cut that soldier's leg off and all he can say and yell is "Don't cut! Don't cut!"...that's the scene that's always stuck with me. It gives me cold chills every time I see it. I can see someone wanting to depict the Civil War and its horrors, but did they have to put that scene in?

One of my favorite catch phases is "Here's a quarter call someone who cares" I have actually said that to several people it may be cliche but it works almost instantly and they leave you alone.
