According to a recent study, 1 out of 4 people married to a snorer will eventually be driven out of the bedroom rather than spend another night battling for sleep. Others say that isn't enough. They have to go to another area of their home. Are you married to or in a relationship with a snorer? Do you snore? How do you handle it? Does it affect your relationship?

Honestly, i am the one contribute for the snore sound. =)
I wonder how my wife can handle it but sometimes she does complaint on the "music". One way can use is make sure my wife sleep first, then she will never heard the sound during her nice dream. LOL.

Snoring, oh this is one of my ongoing problems here. While my husband does snore loudly and erratically (another story about the C-pap machine he won't use). Anyway, if I get to sleep before he does, there is no problem. I can usually go back to sleep quickly if I pop out of bed for BR visit or a drink of water too. On those occasions when I can't get back to sleep, I may make loud noises to wake him up a little. If I get desperate, I go down to sleep on the sofa.
I snore myself, but don't seem to bother anyone with it thank goodness.
I would actually love to be in my own bedroom, but it's hard to bring that about without causing hurt feelings. I have a friend who now has her own bedroom and loves it.

Well my brother is one of those statistics then because he snores so loud you'd thing a grizzly bear was after you and also talks and yells in his sleep. His fiance refuses to sleep in the same room with him anymore because she says he keeps her up and then she feels to tired throughout the day to get things done. My brother sleeps on the couch. Me and my Husband only snore occasionally which is good because I can't stand snoring it drives me batty. We only snore if we are really really tired.

As far as I know I only snore when I have a cold. I have been in a relationship with a snorer before. It is not really an issue if I fall asleep first, but if I am not then it used to drive me crazy. Normally nudging the person to get them to roll over works. My son is a snorer too, so I will sometime roll him over myself just to get him to stop.

I have to keep my weight down or this becomes a problem for my wife. If I'm having trouble falling asleep, her snoring can annoy me. It isn't all the time, however, but I do sometimes leave to try and sleep on the couch. I don't want to wake my wife.
I do need to mention that she doesn't snore like this very often. The last time she was snoring loudly, it might have had something to do with having a cold.

My husband and I both snore. His snoring does bother me sometimes if he rolls towards me and is facing me. Usually I will just tell him to roll over and it doesn't bother me anymore. My snoring never bothers him because he's a really heavy sleeper.
