It turns out that those stories referring to Senator Obama's distant half-brother George living in squalor were heavily exaggerated:
...the story is hardly as sensational as some made it sound. As background, Obama and his half-brother, George, share a biological father, Barack Obama Sr., but have different mothers. The father left when Obama was 2 years old, and he was raised by his mother and maternal grandparents in the U.S. and, for a few years, in Indonesia. George grew up in Kenya. Neither had their father as much of a presence in their lives. The two met briefly when George, who is about 20 years younger than Barack, was very young.
After the Italian Vanity Fair story was reported, a CNN correspondent caught up with George Obama and interviewed him on camera. When asked about the brouhaha about his economic situation, he said that the media reports made him angry, adding:
George Obama: I was brought up well. I live well even now. The magazines, they have exaggerated everything ... There are some challenges, but maybe it is just like where you [the reporter] come from, there are the same challenges.
Another smear bites the dust.

When one candidate has nothing to stand on especially now, attacks and smears work so much better than your own failures. Keeping the same crappy Bush politics is not something that I personally would be proud of and what better way to get attention away from yourself than to smear the person you're running against.

Most things are exaggerated one way or the other, and the plight of George Obama is probably no exception. However...
"If anyone says something about my surname, I say we are not related. I am ashamed. I live like a recluse." ~George Obama
Sure, he may "live well" for Kenya standards, or even for what he is used to, but what he would like to be is a mechanic.
Obama has held fund raisers to help disadvantanged kids get to college. Even if George Obama doesn't have a problem with how he lives, would it kill the bigotted racist to shell out a few of his own dollars to help his half brother?

Obama doesn't want to be his brothers keeper, he wants everyone else to be "his brothers' keeper".
Just another "do as I say, not as I do" hypocrit whose greatest accomplishment is proving that even a self avowed Socialist is better off living a Capitalist lifestyle.
Please explain to me how his Hyde Park digs are "for the good of the people"?

lol, Obama, a bigoted (see, that's how you spell it) racist? Let's not forget who unashamedly used the racial slur "g.ooks" until recently, and who voted against making Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday a holiday. Hint: not Obama.
Also, there is no indication that George wants handouts. I hear so many Americans complain about poor people getting handouts, but now when it suits them, they're basically DEMANDING that handouts are given to someone who has expressed no desire for them. Kind of like giving all those additional tax cuts to super-rich corporations, hmm.
Just in case you get the impulse to stroke your ego by the lack of a response to what is predictably going to be an even more incoherent reply than your last, I'm telling you now that the reason I'm not going to reply to you anymore is because you've drunk too deep from the Kool-aid well to reason with. Sorry, but you made it too obvious when you called Obama, of all people, a racist.
P.S. Your tactics in a nutshell:
OMG OBAMA'S A SOCIALIST/COMMUNIST/RADICAL/LEFTIST/LIBERAL/MARXIST/ELITIST/MUSLIM/TERRORIST/SEPARATIST/BLACK LIBERATIONIST WHO HATES AMERICA!!!!!!!
Quick, throw a few more labels on him, SOMETHING's gotta stick!

I call him a racist because his religion's entire purpose is racist. Or is it "enlightened" to call for killing God if God doesn't love the Black man more than the White man?
Actually I don't expect any more from you. I bet you live under some delusion that Black people can't be racist.

This nonsense is getting ridiculous, isn't it? I can't wait to see what they come up with next because with 28 days left until Election Day the McCain campaign better come up with some Hail Mary's that really work.
Thank God I don't think that's going to happen!

I have a feeling the McCain campaign is going to go for broke with the character attacks. McCain's going to have no media favor nor "maverick" image to go back to when he loses, but then again, maybe it was a willing sacrifice, since he's probably not going to run for anything again, other than the Senate.
