If someone give you a favor, would you be thinking of returning one to him?

I believe there are different ways of handling favours.Returning a favour and more to the person whenever sought and more is one way to go about it. Then there is the way of passing on the favour and doing good to someone else.

I think this is an individual thought. I've seen many Filipinos who have debt of gratitudes but I've also seen many of us Filipinos who don't know how to return favors. Same with foreigners I think! I've been exposed to different culture due to the nature of my job and I've seen how some of them differ as well when it comes to "utang na loob". One thing I am sure though... I am one person who has lots of this. I can't wait for tomorrow to return the favor when somebody does a favor to me. I feel like doing something also that will please the person. It's not that I feel obligated but I want the person to feel how much I appreciated the favors or help extended to me.

I will not demand but I am expecting that when I need my friends' time and assistance, they are there for me even if for some reasons they cannot help me, but they will show some support!
When someone also can do favor to me, I will not forget it and will always be there for her or him when it is her or his time to need me...Because, I believed that is the essence of real friendship!

i always try to return any favor i'm given. i think that's the least u can do when someone is nice rnough to do something for you.not everyone here does that but they should. some people act like you owe them that but never think to return it.

hello friend, i think i am also in this situation.if some one give me a favor.i will try my best to return one to him as compensation.It is sure. Because i always think it is a debt to owe someone's help.and i think it is general manner to reply some one. isn't it right? of ourse, it is my pleasure to help someone else.and for me, i don't want to get something back from the guy.lol

Of course its always a give and take process. Sometimes i do a favor for my friend and he/she does some favor for me at times when i needed it most.

If someone does me a favor yes I will do them a favor in return, I think it is only fare, I asked my sister to load me some money to pay my insurance, when I was sick, now I know they say if you load family money, don't look for it back, but with me that is not true, when I got my income tax money, I had my sister take me to the bank and I with drew $1,000 from my account I paid her back here $230 she load me, I didn't duck my sister to keep from giving her here money, because she didn't have to help me.

If someone does me a favor then I will return the favor, yes. I do it out of politeness and manners as opposed to thinking I owe them a debt
Besides, you never know when you may need them to do you another favor sometime

I call it just doing the right thing.
Personally when someone does something for me
I always try to do them a favor in return.
Thats what being a friend is to me. I normally
try helping my neighbors and friends. I don't
think of it as something being owed to them or
me. Just helping each other out and being a
great person.
