Yes, it is true. There is a quite a group of people in the orbit of Barack Hussein Obama. Ever hear of this guy? "Black Muslim lawyer Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour recently made news when it was revealed that he was a patron of Barack Obama and recommended him for admission to Harvard Law School in 1988." Here is quite a story about this friend of Barack. http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/Read.aspx?GUID=0F03A69D-2986-4CE8-9158-C986849424D5 I say that since 0bama says he is a Christian and not a Muslim, fine, let's take his word for that. However, let's beware of the Muslims who want to exploit 0bama to the detriminate of the USA while enroute to bringing Islamic Peace to the world. What do you say?

The fact that 0bama claims to be a Christian means nothing to me, because the first thirty years of his life he was a Muslim until he "changed" for political reasons. I would say that you are known by the company you keep. Of course 0bama would probably say that was just a guy he knew. 0bama has a lot of guys he knew... Rev. Wright, Farakkan, Ayers, Wright the communist mentor... just to name a few. All of them haters.... either hating America, whites, or both. I say 0bama is a hypocrite, a liar, and an enemy of America.

Mostly your conclusion requires inference as to what is going on in 0bama's mind. I think your inference is correct, but it gives those who disagree wiggle room for denial in their own minds.

0bam tied himself to these people by his association with them.

These conclusions could destroy the democracy of America. To tie Obama to terrorists and raise the ire of fanatics, this is inviting destruction. I wonder if the McCain camp realized what they were unleashing? If McCain gets president I hope for our country's sake, it is a good four years. I have many reasons to fear McCain (Excellent post about McCain and Gordon Libby here on MyLot) but I also respect him, and will at least give him the benefit of thinking he has good intentions. The country will have to work together to survive and thrive, with this kind of politics, whoever gets President is doomed anyway.

What bothers me about Obama is that it has been well proven that as a child he was raised in the Muslim faith by his father and stepfather but continues to deny it. That he converted to Christianity is also a proven fact and he has every right to practice his religion of choice but why deny that his first religious roots were in Islam. It comes back to haunt him over and over again and by this he is telling the world that he is a liar and IMO a liar cannot be trusted.

Certainly you are right. The mystery is why does anyone disagree?

Obama was not even raised by his father.

He certainly must have felt something to be influenced enough to write a book about his father's dreams. Perhaps he did not need his father to raise him but his mother and stepfather did and she was very pro Muslim to have married TWO of them. However if the word "raised" is all you had to nitpick about then I must be doing something right!

I say this guy scares me. And if a person isn't scared of him, something is wrong. With all the things that have come out or all those things he's denying, and all those things he won't let come out, people should be highly alarmed that he might be our next president! I heard a radio commentator this afternoon talking about the difference in the Muslims and the Nation of Islam. He said that the Nation of Islam was just a sect and was one of the worse things ever - Louis Farakhan. I wonder if this black lawyer is just a muslim or is he part of the Nation of Islam.

It is hard to tell, he seems to be friendly with both.

Well, I think Obama has some bad relationships, period! It scares me to think people will vote for him.
