I made my son cinnamon rolls for breakfast this morning and he had the nerve to complain about it. He did not want a cinnamon roll. He wanted to go to the pantry and grab a cold honey bun. Have you ever made someone breakfast and they did not appreciate it?

My daughter has a few days like that. "But mommy I wanted waffles" I guess they just get their mind set on something and that is it. I however appreciate it. Pass me the roll
, I'll take it.

No, but, of course, I don't have kids. I've cooked breakfast for housemates before, and they were always smart enough not to complain about whatever was served.

That never happens here! My kids love it when I make them a hot breakfast and if it were cinnamon rolls, they would be in heaven. I don't have time in the morinings during school to make hot breakfasts, so they usually do grab a honeybun or a special k bar. On the weekends I make french toast or pancakes with eggs and sausage or bacon. Usually a huge breakfast on Saturday morning.

Ohhh yum, cinnamon rolls sound good, if your son don't want em I will have them! Mind you saying that, a cold honey bun sounds rather nice too! My daughter is the only one who moans about her breakfast, she is 2 and she will ask for one thing, then as soon as she has it she no longer wants it and wants something else instead.

Oh, those who do not appreciate my efforts! Yes, sometimes I have made a breakfast and not had a lot of interest in it. It really can be a 'downer' but in general, my breakfast choices are safe ones. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, generally all routinely good choices.
My daughter would be elated to get fresh cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Infinitely superior, I should say, to a cold honey bun. I do not even make fresh cinnamon rolls (by this I mean out of a tube and popped in the oven) except for maybe once ever two months or so on the weekend. So, she certainly would not pass up one for breakfast.

Hehe, I am sorry to hear that, however, that happens some time...Don't get frustrated!I am sure your cinnamon roll tastes great. Maybe your son would love to eat it fast school~
I do not have any kids, I just cook for my husband, and I guess he is so tolerant to me, haha, I cannot cook very well, but he encourages me a lot, let me explore some new dishes, I am not sure what if I have my kids....hehe
Just happy mylotting.
