More Twins!

Lisa Marie Presley gives birth to twin girls. Presley, 40, gave birth Tuesday, publicist says. Babies, mother are "happy and healthy," according to statement. Singer, daughter of Elvis Presley, is married to music producer Michael Lockwood. Celebs with twins seems to be in the water these days.
One baby weighed 5 pounds and 15 ounces, and the other came in at 5 pounds and 2 ounces. Are these large birth weights for twins? Or about average?

Wow, I didn't know this. Sorry to be getting to this so late but mail has been backed up 5 months..I didn't realize she was 40 years old I thought she was only like 34 or something around that area. Time flies. That sound like average birth weight for twins.

It is wonderful to hear the Lisa Marie Presley had twin girls. I wonder what names they have been given. It is a shame Elvis Presley is no longer alive because he would love being a grand father to the twin girls. I think that the birth weights are above average for twins. Wow!

Well, congratulations to her, then. I think new life is wonderful if born to parents who can be devoted to their best interests. I still can't believe she married Jackson.

I think thats normal, or within the average range for new born twins from western countries. For Filipino mom, maybe 5.15 is already above average.
Anyway, I really wanted to have twin babies but I think the posibility now is 1% only
.

I think that's a good size for twins. Mine were 6.9 and 6.12 and that is excellent for twins!
I wonder how many of these celebrities are having their twins naturally, and how many are in-vitro or by some other means. I think that takes away from the "specialness" of it all.

I think that is great, can you imagine the thought of Elvis Presley being your grand father, it is too bad that he had to die, my husband still has his stuff all over the house he is his idol. I love most of his songs and especially the religeous ones. These children will never have to want for anything. His daughter is beautiful and I believe her mother did a good job of bringing her up and her not be the spoiled brat some are.

That's a very good weight for twins. My sister-on-law had twin girls and they were about the same. They were full-term also. Most twins are very early.
