Today yahoo sent all of my myLot mail to the spam folder.

hi gardengerty wow thats awful. I have well and sometimes it will rate some of my lot discussions as spam but it at least lets me see them, and rectify their mistake. talk about deleting things when I first started learning to use my computer I managed to move all my incoming mail to delete folder, then I hit delete and wondered duh where is my incoming mail wah I did manage to retrieve it from my trash bin however, but learned a lot about how and when and where to delete things. but were you able to retrieve all you mylot mail? I have got so I check my notifications then go on into mylot so I can see everything and find friends started, then todays top and hot, then maybe I might make a discussion.

sure, you were missed. another person had said she hadn't got anything today to. maybe they did her the same way. this computer can do crazy things, that's for sure. hope it doesn't happen again. good night.

Someone else said that they had the same problem with MyLot today, so maybe there was some kind of glitch!

I've had that happen before in my Yahoo mail, once I clicked 'not spam' and added it into my address book I didn't have any further problems. I always give a quick glance through when I delete my spam folder, just in case. I forwarded something from one of my other email boxes to my Yahoo inbox and it went into the spam folder lol. I added myself to my own Yahoo addresses after that happened a couple of times. I never delete spam in the spam folder without making sure there isn't something there that I intended to get. YES...we missed you hehehe, you always start good discussions!

same here..but since i know yahoo is like this and always sends my good emails in the spam i always check that folder too to make sure...it happened the same last year around this same time actually...weird...i guess they feel winter approaching and go crazy:p

Mine sends all kinds of things to junkmail folder. I wonder what is up.

Hey Gerty, Some other mylotters were just saying that they
didn't get any emails today at all. I just answered a
discussion from Rosekitty and some other people said the
same thing. She didn't get any emails and a few people in
her discussion didn't either so there is somthing wrong in
mylotland again! Another mylot glitch apparently. So you
aren't the only one who didn't receive emails today! Take
a look at her discussion. She just put it up a little while
ago. I forgot what it is under, but you should be able to
find it if you look under Rosekitty.

Thanks, Gerty because the same thing happened to me today and I didn't even think to check spam until I saw this discussion.

Sometimes a few notices do end up in my spam folder but I always assumed that was because the censor matches some word in the them with a banned word, not because the myLot member said anything bad, but because some perfectly nice words have different meanings, like where someone recently started a discussion about spam and meant the the potted meat product, but that might be mistaken for junk mail.

I don't use Yahoo for much of anything, so what you describe hasn't happened. PM me if you want me to send you an invitation for a free g-mail account;-)

Yahoo really sucks sometimes!! I am sure they know not what they are doing. Last month, for nearly two weeks, I was not able to send any mail from yahoo. So, I really wouldn't be surprised at anything yahoo does. For Mylot, I use gmail. And gmail sends just a few messages to the Spam folder, which isn't really a big loss. Just one or two messages are lost that way.:)
