My suggestion to myLot admin:
Why not place a delete button somewhere so that the topic creator, (and only the topic creator can see this) can opt to delete his/her topic. But the request for topic deletion is still subject for moderation of the admin. Instead of emailing them, have a button to raise a request or log a ticket.
You can also place a tracking system to a ticket or request like "request received by admin", "request approved", "request disapproved", "reply/action done", etc. etc.

Everyone of us know that there are so many 0 responses. Just imagine if mylot is getting the request to delete all those. Lol. It just increases their burden.
