Alone in the dark  

You reminded me of my self during those times when I was very frightened being alone in the dark. Yeah its realy spooky when you felt that somebody's there watching you or might grab you. But those are just our imaginations, it was created by our subconscious mind, which we already recorded in it that we feared being alone, thats why we alone created some hallucinations that threaten us.

Yes even I, before, I was so afraid of walking in the dark early morning.

I wish you do'nt get any trouble as you walk early in the morning to catch a bus to ride. Just take good care of your self, and do'nt forget to pray and ask for protection, or bring some with you.

Yeah LOL! you're right courage is the word for overcoming our fears in life, and we need a lot of work to boost that courage.

My therapist once told me that, we got those fears mostly from people around us such as our parents, that of which in order to make their kids eat or sleep they will told them stories that are fearful in nature. Young minds are well too easy to be recorded of any fears, cause they are most likely emotionly active.

You need not to be afraid of being alone in your life, look for more friends that you can trust, friends that will make your life grow positively. Or visit myLot if that time comes (but I hope not)and make your self busy.

You know mine is different, my parents often find me unconscious if I was left an hour alone in the dark. That's why even I grew up, the fear still haunted me, thanks to my friend who introduced me to my therapist, now like you I enjoyed the dark specialy when I'm with my wife, Heheheheh!!!.....

Same as I, I fear my wife, I think I need another therapy for that LOL hahahaha!.

We'll go together buddy. There's strength in numbers I hear.:))

When I was also a kid,I never went under the bed, cause I'm afraid that those creepy creatures I imagined might grab me and eat me. Even when I go to sleep, I never turn off the lights, but that was before. Thanks God, I have overcome those fears of mine.

What particular things do you saw in the dark?
Before I saw creepy creatures with long pointed nails and very hairy body. Sometimes I saw elves with ugly faces, dirty teeth and green saliva running down his tounge, trying to lick my face.

I'm not afraid of heights, but I know a friend who share thesame fear as you are. When I was in high school we have this military training for an officer, a friend of mine joined and died during the training exercise. Reports say's that my friend was brought at mountain cliff blind-folded, He knew he was in that cliff for his officers told him that. He was told to jump, he did'nt jump for he was verry terrefied that day, infact he had his pants wet by his own urine. His officers faced him not in the cliff, but because he was afraid he trn at his back and run , although some officers are in his back they never have the time to grab him until he fall down the cliff and died.
