SOme of you knows that I gave birth last MAy and since then my period has not come. Quite worried because I want to feel it first before I put myself into contraceptives, well I have a difficult history on menstruation and I was thinking of using IUD as form of contraceptive but some says it is painful when you have your period, so I am thinking I had to have my period first.
I was so stressed out with my second child a while ago and so came my period. yahoo!
I was so relieved and happy that I already it now, now I think I am ready for my IUD, but still have to brave the second day pain which is the most painful day

Oh it took you so long before you had you're menstruation. So you are going to use IUD. I remember that when I was young, my Mom used to have IUD as contraceptive. That was very popular then in our barrio. I heard almost all the mothers then going to the Center to have their free IUD. But I also remembered my Auntie got pregnant and she could not believe how it happened. Well, I think the IUD got out of its place place so the pregnancy happened. Oh I hope that will not happen to you unless you want another child! Ha!ha!ha!

I got an IUD 2 months after my youngest son was born. It did make my first few periods a bit heavier and I had more cramping than usual, but most of my periods are not very difficult. I've had the IUD 7 months now and no longer have problems.
There is a hormonal IUD that is supposed to make your periods easier, so if you normally have long or painful periods, you could look into that one.

Today is the 3rd day and i guess your period is more or less finished right?? hehe ^_^ I just dun understand gals, why will they wish for their period to come every month when they know it's gonna be very uncomfortable and feeling very uneasy, plus painful for the back.. hehe
And the reason i get from them is that, if the period dun come, their stomach will feel very bloated.. Is that really true?? hehe =D And depending on the amount of flow, some can last up till 5-7 days while some will finish their period in 2-3 days.. hehe
