Halloween pardon sought for executed British witches. Petition seeks pardon for UK witches hundreds of years after their deaths.Around 400 people were executed in England for alleged witchcraft. The Witchcraft Act of 1735 put an end to trials of accused witches. To get a pardon, evidence must prove conclusively that no offense was committed or that the applicant did not commit the offense. It is not enough that the conviction may be unsafe -- the applicant must be technically and morally innocent."
So here is my question: How do you prove all these people technically and morally innocent? They have been dead for hundreds of years. I am sure records have been lost or damaged in that amount of time.

Well, as I don't believe witchcraft actually works.. and we have no proof of witchcraft every actually being able to do anything.. it seems they are all innocent.

I wouldn't have a clue as to how someone could be found morally and technically innocent as you said after all these years lord I don't know if evidence could last that long without having been damaged or tampered with. So you feel that it might be useless to try to prove all that after all these years I know people must want their families name cleared and all but it just seems like an almost impossible task to prove them innocent.
