I am baking a lasagna tonight. I love lasagna. This is just your basic meat sauce and cheese lasagna. I have a beautiful ceramic lasagna pan that makes a nicethick lasagna. How do you make yours? Do you use ricotta cheese?

I love lasagna, but I do not make it often. My husband is not a lover of lasagna. I usually make a basic meat sauce as well. Sometimes if I make it I will eat on it all week. You dish sounds nice, I usually will use an aluminum pan bought from the .99 store. I always use ricotta, it goes very well with meat mixture, I like a lot of cheese on mine. Whenever the mozzarella and ricotta are on sale I will buy them.

The dish is wonderful it has a handle on each side so it is easy to get it in and out of the oven. Makes a nice big lasagna too. I use riccotta and motzerella and parmesean cheese in mine sometimes I will throw in some asiago cheese too.

Hi sweet! I love lasagna! I haven't made it in quite awhile! I think the last time I did make it was some time last fall or in the winter. It is one of the dishes that I make when the weather is cooler. It is also a dish that I make when I am planning to invite quite a few friends since it feeds plenty! Sometimes I put in the ricotta and sometimes I don't. Usually I do make it with ricotta! That way it is more authentic! My friends love it and I love making it for them! Add some nice fresh garlic bread and they are in heaven! I have a a nice large corningware dish that my Mom used to use for her lasagna that she gave to me. It's not anything to look at, but it does the job! I use about 3 pounds of chopped meat, onions, 2 pounds of mozzerella cheese, parmesian cheese, 3 jars of sauce, garlic powder, oregano, black pepper, onion powder, large ricotta (forgot size) and I think that is about it! All I know is that it tastes yummy! I envy you eating yours tonight! Hope you and your family are enjoying it!

I love lasagna. I make mine by going to the freezer section in my groccery store, buying one, taking it home, popping it in the oven, and waiting till it's done. LOL I am not much of a cook. My husband is a fantastic cook. maybe he knows how to make the stuff. I'll have to ask him.

I have not made a lasagna in years. I do love it but never think of making it. I have canned several quarts of spaghetti sauce and should make some sometime.

I love lasagna, but I rarely make it. I use a meat sauce and ricotta cheese, Parmesan Cheese, and Mozzarella cheese.

I love lasagna but can't make it too often b/c I tend to eat too much of it. I use Velveeta and grated cheddar in mine and I guess the strangest thing I do is I don't cook the noodles. I simply lay a layer in the pan, cover with the meat mix, the layer of cheeses, then another layer of noodles, the layer of meat mix, the layer of cheeses and I top with some parm cheese and a litle cilantro. Then I fill the baking dish with water till it just reaches the edge of the top layer. I bake it for 45-60 minutes at 350 and then take it out and let it sit for 10-15 min. It turns out scrumptious every time. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I like lasagna but am not crazy about ricotta, so if making it at home I use Mozzarella and, of course, Romano. I like spinach and olives and prefer the white sauce over the marinara, but with some nice Italian sausage included. Haven't tried this one, but here is a recipe for those who don't like ricotta: http://www.cooks.com/rec/doc/0,1826,147160-227201,00.html
