Fight for TV remote control

I never fight over the remot control. I hardly ever watch any television. My husband always has the remote anyway.

I will fight with my sister for tv remote... Since i like to see cricket but she dont like to see cricket...

Yes it is a common seen in most the houses. When I read the topic, there was a smile in my face, you know why thinking about my younger son (one and half year old) and he is the biggest fighter for the remote control. The funny thing is, everybody is thoroughly enjoying some programme, and he peeps all over the face and changing the channel and laughing on all and refusing to give the remote to anybody, then it really need some efforts to get back the same. He is so small and his action is very cute to watch so all are enjoying it.

But there is unpleasant incident happened in my neighbourhood. There was a fight for remote control in between brothers and finally their father broken the TV to end up the fight.

i usually fight for the remote control with my dad. He always like to watch news, politics programme.... Oh No!! Those are very boring for me, a teenage girl.... That's why i always ready in front of the tv for a big funny fight with him.

Hi friend,I never fight but my husband and daughter always fight for the remote.I get irritated and get away from the place instead of watching t.v with them.This happens everywhere and I have planned to keep another t.v in my daughters room.Having t.v for everyone in each bed room is the remedy to control remote fighting.thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

My daughters do sometimes fight over which channel they want to play but normally they have the same liking or would adjust for each other and agree on a specific channel. Once my husband is at home they know that the room tv would be in his control as he loves to watch the business news so they move out to the lobby and enjoy their channels.

Hahaha! this discussion brings back memories. Of course I have fought with my siblings for the remote. I have with my husband to. But with my husband it is more of a game. Because we have two remotes that work one tv. So, we try to get both remotes. Hide one and have the other one find it.

I have my own T.V but sometimes my wife and daughter will fuss over who is controlling the remote. I wife will go into the other room and watch the smaller T.V. not so much as keeping peace in the family but because it is a better T.V. and doesn't have as much fuss on it.
