Former John McCain aides make false allegations

I believe the allegations are untrue. It's unfair of the media to report rumors as facts. Too bad so many in the public eye have to deal with these criticisms, many times coming from unknown persons, making it hard to defend themselves. It seems like they're trying to blame Palin for the loss of the election.

We may never know for sure which of the allegations about Palin are true and which are not but I'd bet there will be several tell-all books coming out within a few months. I don't know why anyone from the campaign, which is now over which would explain why they're "former aides", would make things up but I guess it wouldn't be the first time and it won't be the last. All I know is that I don't buy into any "conspiracy theories" about plants from the Obama campaign. We're dealing with a situation where it's one person's word against another so who knows who's telling the truth and who isn't.

Who knows if they are "real" aids. But they lost and they want someone to blame. THey do not want to be blamed for running a sloppy campaign or for misshandling Palin so they all are pointing the finger else where. The theory is he lost so someone is to blame. I better make sure no one blames me so I will blame someone else. That way it does not effect their ability to get jobs in the future.

I honestly don't know what to think. I really don't want to believe that the allegations are correct. Palin seemed like a good person, and would probably have made a good VP - even without a lot of Washington experience.

There is a lot of unhappiness and anger in the McCain camp right now. They all want to blame someone for loosing. It is not right though.

It's no doubt that Palin isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I agree that some of these allegations are totally absurd. By absurd, I mean, who cares? Specifically regarding her wardrobe. I actually really like her response: "This is Barack Obama's time right now, and this is an historic moment in our nation and this can be a shining moment for America and our history, and look what we're talking about. Again, we're talking about my shoes and belts and skirts. It's ridiculous."

For me, it's not a far stretch that Palin lost the election for McCain. Most of the people I knew who were on the fence during the election jumped Democratic at her arrival, she's too conservative. But I guess at the same time she may have recovered votes from conservatives who found McCain too liberal (though I can't imagine that McCain ever lost that vote to Obama). Either way, she didn't turn me off to McCain because her clothes cost too much money, I really don't care about a lot of the allegations made against her.

Well of course she will say they are untrue. Does that make them false, or does that make Sarah a liar?
