Yes, no need to worry guys, it's in China. whew, i was worried it might be going to help out here at home or something.....whew!*end of sarcasm (in case you didn't catch it)
If this doesn't infuriate you, you either have a great deal of investment in Bank of America, live in China, or just plain don't care about this countries future or the conduct of the corporations we are propping up with our own money. Read the article and check out the picture i posted.

Good thing you found it because Congress seems to have no idea where it is going or how it is being used. Why on why are we giving our tax dollars to foreign countries or companies that are owned by foreign companies. Oh ya now I remember, they got lobbyist to go to washington and convience them to give them the money.
Outrage do not even begin to describe how I feel right now.
I think it is time I wrote another letter to my elected officials. This irresponsibility has got to STOP! Poor man is probly sick of hearing from me by now.

"Poor man is probly sick of hearing from me by now."
good, that just means it's time to ramp it up even more and get your friends to do the same.
I know Poulson and Bernanke are getting roasted alive in congressional hearings, Ive been watching it alot on cspan. Now they need to bring bank executives to the same barb'q.

Very impressive!
[i]`People should be delighted that Bank of America is thinking long term about its options and isn't just barricaded in their shack out in the woods,'' said Daniel Rosen, principal of Rhodium Group, a New York firm that advises companies on overseas investments

I thought this one was pretty good too.
Simply amazing!

You'd be better off hiding your money under a mattress than putting it in BOA or dealing with them in any way. This I know from personal experience. Their motto should be "Where we put your money to work for us."

Hey X, thanks for finding this and posting it!
I am so angry at this point, I can't write or talk. I just keep sitting here, shaking my head and wondering which is the best action to take.
Somehow, we the people MUST take back our government -- and FAST!Where did you hear that about some congressmen being threatened with martial law? It makes sense, because i could see that John McCain, who really didn't want to go along with this, was scared of something, really scared. And I watched the Senate hearings when they were discussing the bailout, and it was so clear that many of them were just scared out of their minds and that was the reason they agreed to it. I gave the benefit of the doubt, and assumed they really believed all the mass hysteria was going to happen and our entire system would fall apart. But they were SUPPOSED to put in restrictions and oversight! THAT was what the big deal of hashing it out was supposed to be about! Instead I don't know what they put in -- pork?I printed the whole bill out, but with my glasses broken I could not get thru it all. SO, I'm depending on you, X: are there ANY remedies in there? Anything, even a crumb? Is there ANYTHING we can all jump on and force them to do that is already in the bill? They know we're all mad already! So we have to come up with a plan that the majority of the nation will get behind, both Dems and Reps and also Independents.
It would jump start our economy MUCH, MUCH better if they just divided up whatever is left and whatever they can get paid back, and gave it all directly to all the people, whether they paid taxes or not. THAT would put lots of money back into OUR ECONOMY where we need it, and help everyone out at the same time. And I'd suggest we pool a portion together, and hire a group of super duper top notch lawyers to sue and/or criminally investigate everyone that may have had a hand, starting with the head of the Senate Finance Committee, who as such, had enough info to know what was happening, and still, even 2 months before the collapse of Fannie and Freddie, kept saying they are fine, rock solid, and need no regulation or anything else -- even tho Bush, McCain, Hagel and others were pleading, telling them that we would end up in exactly this place we're in. They have no excuse for their behavior, and they should have no more place to hide. But not just the government officials that ignored facts; also the traders and bankers who knew what they were doing. I believe a lot of people really didn't know, not understanding it all that well, just like a lot of home buyers didn't really understand that they couldn't afford the house because the realtor (probably having no idea that people were actually betting on them to default on their mortgage) would tell them that they've never seen real estate go down -- even if it slows some, it won't go down in value, so they will have their way out... But the ones who knew, should pay.
Have they forgotten that this is OUR Country, OUR government, and OUR money -- and we are above all, AMERICANS? Americans don't take crap from any government, even their own, but it seems we've forgotten. Do the words Boston Tea Party mean anything?

It's a shame that they pushed that bill through so quickly and forgot to establish proper oversight, qualification requirements, and conditions. Now the banks turn around and buy other banks, apparently not even nationally but internationally. It doesn't matter whether they use the bailout money or not. Obviously they had enough money to make up for the bad mortgages and loans on their books. Bank of America should not have received a penny from the bailout package, yet, somebody decided they qualify....
Looks like the bailout bill is accomplishing it's mission. Credit is freed up... just not in this country.

Well, I am really disappointed in Bank Of America and glad they're not holding my mortgage. I do have money there...some in a credit union, too. Maybe it would be safer in the credit union......
