Cosmetics and make-up - Do you use it?

There's so much truth in your statement. One feels good when one looks good.

On some people make-up doesn't suit well.Yes, you are right. Heavy make-up is for people associated with glamour industry. That's what I feel. Because I, for one, won't be able to carry too much of make-up. Thick foundation, artificial eyelashes, lips fakely redefined, dark lipstick, as if you have just now had an overdose of blood sucking, glitter and gloss on cheeks and eyes.......EWWWW!! NOT for us!!

A good subtle make-up is one which blends in and makes it look natural resulting in you looking more beautiful. Like you too say-- tastefully applied makeup looks fine on most people. The answer lies in there.

Still I prefer the natural look for everyday because I can not carry it well. Yes, sometimes (which is once or twice in three-four months) while going with friends to discotheques, we do apply very little make-up.

You look pretty as such. With little makeup on you must be looking prettier. Mostly we ourselves are the biggest critics. We are never satisfied with the way we look.

If my grandson ever wants to practise on me,when he visits next year, well, THAT would be different!! I have actually HAD it on in a school play loooong ago and it was dramatic of course for my part and I looked cool! but, naaaah.. I think I will let the ladies look after that and whatever fellas like it too, I am good with that also.
I DOOO use underarm deoderant. doesnt THAT count for something????

You yourself are admitting that you look(ed) cool with makeup. Now that speaks volumes.

No!! Deodorant won't count. No way!! Thats a hygeine essential, not makeup. You will have to come up with something else.

hahaha.. yes I was quite young and smitten with love and behaved very foolishly and had to marry as a result. we had a beautiful daughter; I got HER to look after and my then 'wife' moved on.. The next chapter is terrible and then I met my wife now.. Life goes on and I am proud as can be of my daughter and her little guy and of my wife and I DO NOT.. I repeat.. I DO NOT touch her makeup!! AND do you really think I am going to go and BUY SOME???

what can we do?? hmm what if I wear something of my wife's .. in private of course.. would that satisfy you?? AHHAHAHAHAHA!

And you do the right thing by not touching your wife's makeup stuff. I wouldn't like that either, someone touching and using my things.

To tell you the truth, I really thought that men don't use makeup, apart from moisturising creme. But in a reality show here, I saw men using face packs and other beauty stuff.

Oh!! Being allergic to perfumes leaves no choice.

Natural look is the best. Those used to it may find it odd without makeup on them. Its a matter of choice.Ofcourse. Thanks itsmefaith for sharing. Hope your allergy gets fine soon.

natural look can look so pretty with just a touch of makeup . my bro used to have a gf who wore so much makeup that it would fake off and she would always beg me to let her know when that happened . i think a person should do what feels good

Yeah. Same here too. Lip gloss looks so irresistible and comes in so many tempting fruity flavours. mmmmmmmmmm!!

Yup, it makes my lips look healthy and nice, and I love fuit flavours:-) I've got one with cranberry now, yummy:-P

That's right but if its done with deft hands. Glamed look would greatly depend upon the outfit and hair styling as well apart from the make-up.
