Deer gets revenge after hunter shoots him. Randy Goodman, 49, said he thought two well-placed shots with his .270-caliber rifle had killed the buck on Nov. 19. Goodman said the deer looked dead to him, but seconds later the nine-point, 240-pound animal came to life.
Deer attacked him with his antlers. The guy had to shoot the deer 2x more before it died. Guy needed staples in his head, and had a concussion.
Do you hunt or know anyone who does? would this make you think twice?

Hey lilybug - don't go with your Dad if he's drunk! You don't know where the pellets might end up!

News of the weird, I guess. Gotta be careful about those animals, they might be mad at you for shooting them.

My husband doesn't hunt but his brother does and so does my sisters husband. They love hunting deer. I am just glad my husband doesn't hunt. Every year you hear about dangerous accidents while hunting or getting ready for hunting. I wouldn't be able to bring myself to touch the meat if he did. If I lived back in the old days I would probably starve.

LOL, that's funny.
I don't hunt and I don't know anyone who does. My older brother used to, but I don't think he does anymore.
I'm not really against hunting, although I used to be. Now I don't care, so long as the animal is not killed needlessly.

What a story! I am not into hunting - especially Deer. Thank God ther is no more Fox hunting in my own country. I expect it is just a cultural thing. My daughter is in N.C. and soem new friends of hers went hunting asnd brought her back some reindeer meat. She burst into tears and asked them if they really expected her to eat Bambi! I know. It's funny. As I said a cultural thing. Yet my daughter adores curry goat which I have always refused to eat in my adopted country! Blessings!
