Why Can't We Fly Our Cars Very Easily This Way ? I Ever Wonder?

I can see that you are a very ambitious and visionary person. Besides, you are also a kind hearted and generous person, because you like to resolve the traffic jam issue and even sell the flying cars at low price, or give some to our mylot members. I have similar kind of ambition too, since teenage. I am also curious why it's not realized because it's not a technical issue. But recently I have read about articles why flying cars couldn't be commercialized until today. The first major concern is the cost of production. The cost involved is higher than the potential profit, and thus it's still the top most barrier of flying cars production. I have read a few news about the flying cars prototype, but they are still in experimental stage. Secondly, it's due to the safety concern. Imagine, there are a lot of flying cars in the air. They are potential threat to the hi-rise buildings. It's no longer safe because there might be flying cars crash into our home or office even in the higher floor. Beside, flying makes theft or robbery in the high-rise building even easier. Imagine terrorists driving a flying cars fully loaded with bombs If the cars are equipped with helicopter blades, I am afraid a lot of people might be killed or get hurt by the rotating blade. There had been a lot of accidents caused by helicopter blade. But I think few decades down, with more advance technology, these social and cost issue might be rectified. Then our dreams of riding flying cars will come true

my country would never allow them. drunk driving accidents would reach a whole new level if everyone flew.

You say we could get away from traffic.Have you thought about what kind of flying traffic there would be,if every one had a flying car.Every one flying could lead to a bigger traffic jam.

Hi Ganesh, I do beleive in the future--when I am gone lol--there will be cars that fly rather than drieve on the ground, so your idea of making one I am sure has been thought of but if you want to make one then do it!! It will be fun but make sure the drawing of it is accurate so there are no accidents!...littleowl

Hi Ganesh44, Whewn I was a child I dreamt of flying cars and years later I saw it in a sci-fi movies, and then there was a movie made called Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, hehe, well you could be the first person to invent a flying cars, but really I don't think it is possibile, with all those tall buildings everywhere and can you imgine if a car smash into the building? it would be a disarter. I would not doubt that one day we might have flying cars,you just never know...You might be having a great idea there...Someone has to come up with these idea's.

You are very fanciful lately! This is a great idea but you don't need a special engine, all engines are essentially the same. Just the blades and some pulleys and such leading to them. Can you imagine, though, what this would be like? We can't have an hour go by without an accident with cars on the ground, think of it in the air!! And people on the ground would be injured, too. People in general are too careless and downright stupid to be trusted with flying cars.

The only problem with flying cars is that there would be mid-air collisions, which would end up on the ground, possibly hurting people on the ground, too. I used to watch a cartoon years ago...The Jetsons...and they had flying cars which I thought were so neat but I alway wondered how everyone knew where everyone else was while in the air. We have enough close calls with the limited number of planes in the air...add a bunch of folks in cars to that mix and you're just asking for trouble.

Have you thought this through? What happens when you have as many flying cars as you do rolling cars? Flying need much more space than rolling
