That's when you would be glad to have one of those out houses. I was with out water for about 3 days one winter because of a snow storm. We hauled water from a friend that still had electricity. We didn't have a shower but just a tub. Needless to say baths were put on hold for a while. Now I always keep some bottled water in big jugs for just such a situation. The worst part would be to have to go with out coffee.

I would first see what the problem is and find out how long I would be without. Once I have figured out those two I would begin to make my survival plans. I would probally start out by heading to a family or friends place to take showers for the day. If water was not going to be restored by the end of the day, I would go to a hotel or maybe to a relatives house to stay. There is no way that I could go for more than a day with no water.

Hi pat! I hate to tell you how many times I have had that
problem! It is one of the worst problems where I live! It
unfortunately happens more times then I can count! It totally
can throw off your day! I can't function or go out without
taking a shower! I have had to go to work without being able
to shower and felt disgusting all day long until I got home
so I could first shower and feel better! And forget the toilet!
We get one flush and if you don't know that you have no water
until after you flush forget it! I always keep water in the
refrigerater, but that doesn't help with the necessary
essentials! Hope you got your water back on quickly!

Personally, that is not something I would want to wake up too. I think we value our Water here too much, and if something like this was to happen without notice, I would be on the Phone to find out what is going on, and make sure something is done about it soon. When you are needing Water for a shower, to brush your teeth, etc. it is important to have, and when there is an interuption like this, it can be a hard thing to deal with for sure.

Re read what you wrote and you will see that you along with the rest of us take our water for granted, we expect someone to provide it. We pay for it so we feel that it will always be there for us. This is where we all need to wake up, there is only so much fresh water and humans continue to consume this at an alarming rate. Sure we think it will be recycles but much of the use we the water to is not easily recycled, we fill it with all type of pollutants and in many cases make it unusable for many years. We all need to become aware. When the water stops at your house it starts you thinking about all this. Thank you

It is a very normal happening in my place here where the tap suddenly turns dry. I normally use my purchased drinking water to do the morning business and for making coffee. I buy mineral water in big bottles especially for drinking as the tap water has strong chlorine smell and not good for drinking.

I would die without water. So would my plants. But, if it is only for a day I would probably survive. This is a scary prospect, no water. Cheers!!

What would I do? I don't know what to do, if that happens. Let's hope it doesn't and will never happen in the future. It can happen though, with the problems that the world is facing today, it has the potential to happen, we never know. But I can honestly say that I don't know what to do if there is no water. Almost everything that we do today requires water, whether directly or indirectly. It'll be difficult, or impossible, to do anything at all without water. Water is too important.

Water is the universal solvient. We need water so that we cannot experience dehydration. Majority of the tasks that we are doing especially in household chores we are using water.I can't imagine life without water. It would be very difficult.
But we can't predict of that thing to happen. But if that day will happen, I will surely make ways to have atleast a little water. But I wish it would not be happen.
