Does MyLot care about us?

Three weeks ago I posted a discussion about a problem that a friend (Janeives43) was having here at MyLot in using her account. Many MyLotters responded or sent me messages with suggestions. Thank you to everybody who has tried to help. There does not appear to be any account violations involved, her rating is still a 9 and her post count has not decreased at all. I have written several notes to MyLot on my friends behalf. My friend has also written several times, using a generic 'contact' form, because if she logged in she was unable to post her message. Do you want to know what the response from MyLot has been? NOTHING, ZILCH, NADA, ZIP. Where is the MyLot that supposedly 'cares' about it's members? The response time to questions submitted to Microsoft, Yahoo, Electronic Arts (Pogo) is in the 24 to 48 hour range. Doesn't THREE WEEKS seem a trifle long? The kicker is that because she hasn't posted anything (she can't), MyLot has now made her account inactive! I have to wonder if my friend's problem is an isolated incident, or if it happens routinely. I mean, unless you know somebody here that you can communicate with outside of MyLot....who would know? Has this happened to anyone's friends here?

I think mylot is trying to weed out inactive mylotters. Maybe she can keep sending them emails to show she sincerely wants to participate in mylot. But the shortest and easiest way is to sign up as a new member. I think that solve the whole mess she is in. I was inactive almost a year and luckily my account was not deleted.

She really is heartbroken over what has happened. She misses friends that she made here most of all, but she was also getting close to a payout amount which was set to a higher amount. What happens to that money if a new account is opened? Whatever the technical problem with her account is, it might actually be fastest and easiest to set up a new account and either move her balance to the new one, or simply pay it out. I am so surprised and disappointed that MyLot has not made any attempt whatsoever to remedy the problem.

I have contacted them before regarding my deleted discussion and it seems they are not interested in entertaining queries or help us in our problems as I have never receive any response from them. No point in pursuing with them as they only give us cold shoulders and left us in frustrations. I have a good friend here who is asking me to fish him out of trouble waters as his account is suspended but I can't do much as I know mylot will not listen.

Whatever your friend does, she must not open a new account. This is very much against the rules. When contacting myLot, it's best to be courteous and factual...keep trying, be polite and be honest.

She sent SIX emails...they can't overlook that many. She was a referral by me to this site. Since then, although I have many friends who might like it here, I just don't feel comfortable referring them.

I really don't know what to tell you. I've seen this happen from time to time and the account seems to have either been banned or suspended. In at least 2 cases that I'm aware of, the account holder was saying they had done nothing wrong but from where I sit they had broken at least a couple of rules. I'm sorry, I cannot remember the details now.

It has never happened to me. I did respond to a few in one night and my count didn't go up I just thought it was due to the fact it doesn't go up right away. I don't know what to tell you on that. Your friend onlydia.
