Do you use wireless router?  

I haven't use wireless router and I like to use it when I will own a laptop someday. I am hoping to make money online as much that it can buy a laptop. I don't know much about the router thing but it would really be useful.

i would have to agree with you on the wireless router as i have one for my two laptops and it have made surfing on the internet so much betta easy to just sit in the lounge and surf the net...

yes... i do.. because i live in my rent house. As a student, each member in my house has a laptop. so, it's gonna be easy to surf internet anywhere and anytime. i use Linksys. it quiet hard to do some settings.. D-Link is better. It's easy than Linksys.

Hi youless I’m rather curious and interested to know why you have so many laptops at home. You don’t tell me you use all the 4 laptops at the same time to surf net. Or there are other members in your family surf net as well.

I would use the wireless router to surf net if I use both the desktop and laptop at the same time. The USB modem has a single USB port only so it could serve a computer to access internet connection only. I have to use the wireless router when my son is back to home or my nephew visits me, for using the wireless router we then could use more than one computer at the meanwhile.

There is another advantage which I enjoy most when using the wonderful wireless router, yeah I could access network at any corner of my house. It’s really convenient for I’m not restricted anymore at just staying in a small confined place. My son has set a password for the sake of security to prevent outsiders to access and share the network using our wireless router.

yes i have a wireless router it came with my AOL Boardband package free. which was good because now i have a laptop its easy to use the net around my house.

Since there are many of us in the house, it was decided to have a wireless router. It makes sense because there are two desktops and up to 5 laptops during the holidays. I use only one desktop unless I am troubleshooting for the family. Since several neighbours have accessed the Internet without permission I have set up a firewall. I am not being mean. Whenever they were allowed to access the Internet they tend to hog the bandwidth, downloading many things including photos and videos. I use Aztech. I helped my friend to set up D-Link. In my opinion it is easier to set up using Aztech wireless router.

yup, I'm using wireless router at home. I bought it a year ago. Before I decide which brand should I buy I made some research from the internet. So I decide that I buy ZyXEL. So far I have no problem using my wireless router.

Because wireless can be access by anyone within the range of its signal I set a WEP and change the key from time to time.

I don't use a wireless router because i am just doing a piggyback ride with my internet connection... but i think my landlady has a wireless router... because internet can be easily accessed anywhere in the building... and that is a good thing for me...

yes, we use wireless router at home since each one of us uses different computer..its very convenient whenever i wanna use the laptop to go on with my paid sites while I'm at the lobby...
