If given the opportunity, which game show would you like to appear on to play? |
| |
| This is a toss up for me, but I think out of all of them, I would do best on "Wheel of Fortune" or "The Price is Right" or "Deal or No Deal." Long ago it would be "Family Feud" or "Win, Lose or Draw" I would do better with the one on one game shows verses the team games though, as I would not know who to choose to be on the game show with me and would not want to offend any family members that I would choose. If I did really well on a show by myself, then I would share it with my family members. What about you? | | | | | |

| | It should would if you didn't have any laundry out there that you wouldn't mind millions of people know about. Especially other family members, I think it could get pretty interesting from that stand point alone. | | | |

| | I don't know if they still have this show and I seriously doubt it since I only see old re-runs on television, but I had always wanted to be on 'Let's make a Deal'. It was mostly random who he approached int he audience but I always had a knack for making the right decision and getting the best deal when I used to watch it on television. I wish that it was still going on so that I could visit that show and get a bunch of cool stuff. I used to also like family feud, but I didn't that that the rest of my family would be good at it. | | | | | | |

| | I would love to be on the Wheel of Fortune. As a matter of fact, I used to watch it almost every night. Now, I am spending more time here on myLot. LOL I was going to go to the Chicago show when it was there on location, but the envelope for my tickets arrived in the mail empty. I thought I would go watch the show and see exactly how everything worked, in case I ever got the chance to be on it. I do really like that show though. The Price is Right was really good when Bob Barker was on it too. Thanks for starting this interesting discussion, and have a Happy New Year! | | | | | | |

| | Yeah, Bob Barker set the milestone for all game show hosts didn't he. So sad to see him off the show, it is nothing like it was with Drew Carey on it either. Even though I like his show "Whose Line is it Anyway" starring Wayne Brady, I don't think he is well suited for the game show arena. He isn't as funny as he is on WLIIA as he is starring on the Price is Right. But I don't blame him for giving it a go. He definitely has a HUGE pair of shoes to fill. | | | |

| | Sooo many choices! I'd like to be on Deal or No deal, The prices is right, or Millionaire. I see you posted Wheel of Fortune, I'd consider that one if it wasn't paying out "chump change" where you can make excessive amounts on newer shows by compairson. | | | | | | |

| | Well considering the choice of game shows, from my understanding, the company pays the contestants to be there on the day they are supposed to star on the show. So if anything was won, no matter how large or small, I think going home with something, even if it was $100 is better than having not tried at all and missing out on so much more. I watched Deal or No Deal just last night. The guy playing was a big Kobe Bryant fan, and so they made him a $383,000 offer, plus an opportunity to be flown to one of the Lakers training camps in Hawaii. A pair of signed Kobe Bryant shoes and a bunch of other stuff, including spending a day with Kobe Bryant himself. All in all the offer added up to $388,000. The guy made the deal, the case he chose had only $1,000 in it. So he ended up with a great deal. His wife wanted him to go one more round, but he decided no to listen and made the deal. After he made the deal, Howie asked him what number case he would have chosen. And of course the number he would have chosen had the $1,000,000 in it. He played that game to the best of his ability. He wanted to win a lot of money, so his wife could stop working. He stated he was going to pay off his house, cars and be totally debt free. I'm so glad he made the decision he did. Plus he gets the opportunity to meet his most admired basketball player of all time Kobe Bryant. It was truly a great game. I don't think I could ever get to the millionaire question on Millionaire, as I usually fade out just before reaching the $25,000 mark, so I wouldn't get over that unless I strategically played the 3 giveaways to my advantage and didn't miss any of them. The game is too broad of choices of answers for my tastes, much like Jeopardy is, you have to be a complete book worm in order to do well on there. Which is not a bad thing, just to me not as much fun in life. | | | |

| | I would have to choose "Deal or no Deal" or "Wheel of Fortune" the money is much more, maybe the "Price is Right" but your odds of being a contestant is almost nil even if you get tickets to the show. | | | | | | |

| | No matter what game show it was, if I was ever given the opportunity to appear on one or more, I'd take the opportunity in a heartbeat. Win Big or break even would be my motto, never to be in the negative where I'd end up having to pay something back to the game show company. That would be crazy in my opinion. | | | |

| | I don't know many of these shows, there are some versions of them in my country, too, but they're not so interesting :) Well actually we had a version of "Deal or no deal" here, and a friend of our family signed up for it, and she was supposed to wait for them to call her when she had to join the game. But the season ended and she never got to play :( I thought they'll get back on it, but the year passed and they didn't come back. Ah well... I guess I'd like to be part of that show if it ever gets back. Or I could travel to another country and play there :) | | | | | | |

| | I would love to go on Deal or No Deal. I said that I was going to send in a VHS tape every month for tweleve months. I sent in two and did not send in anymore. I was watching it the other night and I notice that they have made a lot of changes and it seems as if you can not make as much money as you use to. That does not matter to me I would still go if given the opportunity. I would love to get out of debt and help my love ones and give some to charity. | | | | | | |

| | Hello, I would most likely choose Deal or No Deal. The reason for this choose is because on the internet game I am really good. I usually always get the 500,000 or 750,000 dollar case. When ever I watch it on t.v I always end up knowing what cases have the low amounts. So I think I would do great on this show. Now only if I would get a chance would be great. | | LoL ~ I think the make the internet version a lot less complicated than the real show, just to peak continued interest in viewers for the actual show. | | I want to go on Estate of Panic, which is just finished it's first season on the SciFi channel! I would choose this one, because it seems like even if you didn't win it would be a lot of fun. | | | | | | |

| | I would like to play cash cab. It's on the discovery channel and I get most of the answers right. As long as the subjects were about history and books, I'd be good. Basically, physics and math are not my areas. I hope I would go with someone who is good at those things so we could combine skills and win a lot of money. | | | | | | |

| | I think I would like to be on Deal or No Deal then second choice would be Wheel of Fortune. My brother won on Price Is Right several years ago. He won a car, freezer of ice cream (he donated to an orphans home), a microwave and two trips. Bad thing is the taxes you have to pay on what you win in that state, and then too it is added to your income for the year so you are taxed again at the end of the year. After all that, what you win is not much of a win! It would be fun to try though. I like to play the online version of Deal or No Deal where you answer the questions in each case. It is for fun. I live in the southeast so most of those gameshows are too far from where I live for me to go! | | | |
