Who are you with and where were you during the New Year?

It's pretty much a tradition in our family to spend New Year's Eve at home with family. The location rotates each year. This year it was my house. We cook up a big pot of polish sausage, cabbage and potatoes and after we toast in the New Year, we eat.

I babysat my grandchildren so that my daughter and her husband could go out. I also had my youngest daughter here. We just hung out and we had pizza and snacks and just enjoyed being together. We watched t he ball drop and had a group hug. It was a fun and very safe time.

I was at home, together with my computer and tv.. lol=D I prefer to stay at home during that say because it's very crowded everywhere on the streets, thus it's better to be at the comfort of my own home.. Though my mom and my brother went to their respective count down parties, but not for me^_^ hehe

It seems like alot of filippinos like u, likes to stay at home with family members, having a gathering and cooking up a big feast to celebrate most festivals right?? hehe

I was staying with friend who was hospitalised. Giving him the moral support and of course praying for his well-being and quick recovery success of surgery etc. Around 0000hrs in the night I could hear firecrackers bursting for about ten minutes around the Hospital. I could here later as I was trying to fsll asleep in the uncomfortable waiting lounge, the new year revellers shouting right up to 0200 hrs in the morning. I was just trying to think of all the difficulties my friend had to go through, in his life.

I was at home alone on New Years Eve, I watched TV and was online.Stayed up very late watching old moovies.

On new year's eve, I was at home with my family. We actually had a family get-together and had sort of games for the kids, teenagers and oldies. We also had a lot of food shared by all of us. At 12mn, all of us were looking up above for the fireworks display. After that, we had our usual exchange of gifts then our midnight dinner. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed time with my family. Also, my boyfriend joined us for the new year. It was his second year of joining us which made my new year extra special.

It is small raining at 31th january (new year eves) I stay at the roof, near room my bos gave to me it a little room though, just (2x3 metre) at the roof.
I am staying with my bos dog, Rado. and with him we watching all the fire works that beeing fired all night at Kuta beach. very beautiful, and i make a pray hope my wish come true at this year.

Yes Ysabel, I also spend my new year's eve at home with my husband and kids. We can't go anywhere, the traffic were horrible. I don't think my children will enjoy being caught up in there. Last year we have a barbeque party at my brother in law's house because he owns the house with a large backyard. But he's out of town for the new year, so we just stay at home.

I spent the New Year near home, with relatives on my father side and with cousins - and their boyfriends (mine didn't come to visit because he had his own thing with his relatives:)). We ate well and each family brought in some food for pot luck - I loved the macaroni salad provided by the host. Then we went to our place for fireworks and for karaoke:D and some alcohol for them - none for me because I was sick then:P
