There are no winners from wars. The victims are mostly ordinary people. Poor kids, who are on this world for such a short time. No excuses whatsoever.

In addition 2 d same....war has done more harm than good.......It deprives many of their source of livelihood........ Live and let other live:)

3. guybrush (3498) | 12 months ago | I honestly can't see war is EVER a solution. Surely we have evolved enough to be able to talk about our problems and work things out? This sounds simplistic, because I realise a lot of the time wars are because people want something other people have - and have to invade and destroy in order to have it. When this happens, all the other country can do is defend itself. My daughter's fiance left for Afghanistan yesterday, and in my opinion, none of our troops should be there.

4. Pose123 (5760) | 12 months ago | Hi antony2best, I feel that war always makes things worse and that it is never the solution. We have been fighting each other since the beginning of time and it simply leads to more fighting. We must believe that it is possible to end all war and continue to seek for a diplomatic solution to all conflicts. Blessings.

5. deebomb (8990) | 12 months ago | I would like to believe that we could settle things with out going to was. But it takes both sides being willing to set down and work out the differences. but that doesn't always happen. We are told in the bible to turn the other cheek but it doesn't say to keep being a victim either. Some times war is the only way to settle a such problems hen the other party won't talk or listen.

8. kun2349 (7276) | 12 months ago | War can never be a solution, just like arguements.. It involves too many innocent lives, and though a war might put an end to everything.. But who is to account for all the dead lives?? ONce a country in war is losing more soldiers than they can afford, they will start to drag all other males in the family to fight in the war..
ANd so if it happens that, everybody is dead, the country's citizens will be blaming it's government instead.. ANd with the defeated country's citizens, will they be willing to take citizenship under a new government when they know that they are gonna be 2nd class ple.. Thus, war is definitely not a solution to things.
