Do you take a vitamin supplement every day, or do you feel that you get the proper nutrients from what you eat each day?
I think I get planty of nutrients, but I still take my vitamin each day. Without taking it, I do not wake up as easily, and I feel sluggish all day. I think that the majority of us do not get all that we need from our food and would benefit from a supplement.

Yah I do..but not multi-vitamins..only Vitamin C(Ascorbic Acid). 1 tablets a day (500mg)..this is my protection against cold and flu since here in my location the weather changes constantly...

oh my you just reminded me to take my pill. I used to take my multivitamin pill everyday but now, i don't. And yes we don't get everything from what we eat, that why they produced vitamins, which is good to everyone. I ma going to the drug store now to my my self a vitamins.

I dont take vitamins in the form of tablets.I always prefer natural vitamins than artificial.It is better to take lot of fruits and vegetables that contains good vitamin content.

I take vitamin supplements sometimes. Whenever I feel sick, doctors will advise I take Vitamin A for eyes, E for skin, B for digestion, C for immune system, etc. I will follow their instructions for some time. But when I am ok in health, I do not.

A friend of mine is very consistent in take Vitamins, and seldom gets a cold. I believe they are good to heath.

I don't take one but I probably need to. I have a terrible time remembering to take any kind of pills and always forget to do it. I'm supposed to take an asprin a day and can't even remember that.

At first I was taking a vitamin for just about everything, but my doctor said I really don't need to be taking all those vitamins. All I need to take is a good Multi-vitamin. So thats what I did. I started taking just one Multi-vitamin & thats it. With that I try to eat healthier foods & to stay away from fast foods. That last one is a hard one to do...LOL. But I do try LOL.

i do take most of the vitamins daily in my diet and i never skip intake of vitamin c in my orange juice because Vitamin C is the most popular single vitamin. Asthmatics tend to have higher needs for vitamin C because of its antioxidant function in the lungs and airways. Doses of 1,000 to 2,000 mg per day improve asthmatic symptoms and lessen the body's production of histamine, which contributes to inflammation.

People with diabetes can benefit from extra vitamin C, too. This nutrient can help regulate blood sugar levels. Since insulin helps vitamin C, as well as glucose, get into cells, people with diabetes may not have enough vitamin C inside many of their cells. Just like glucose, vitamin C can't do its work if it's not inside of a cell. Supplementing vitamin C can force it into body cells, where it can protect against the many complications of diabetes.


A dose of 1,000 to 3,000 mg per day drives down glycosylated hemoglobin levels. This means that glucose molecules don't attach to blood cells.
