we all have lamps of some sort in our homes. And in the evenings we use them. But during the day? I have white curtains in my living room and kitchen. I have been know to open them up. And let the light come on in. I think it brightens everything up. Do you like lamp or natural light better?

I like natural light much much more. The power expense is one thing, the resource is another, esp in daytime, it should go to more productive places. However, when it drawing to evening, the natural light turns down, better turn on the room light in time, to avoid overfatigue of eyes, actually even better to have a break for a while, as is said, it is no good to have both light on. With the lights we use at home, when you have a child, be very careful about the frequency they eject light. Our eyes get hurt without notice by the frequent shifting of lights. The harm is extra to tender eyes of the kids. Desk lamps must be strictly selected to avoid harm to pupils.

As soon as it is light enough out we turn off the lights in the house and use the lights from outside to help give us light I think that we only turn on one light throughout the day and that is my bathroom which doesn't have a window. So let the light shine on...It also helps save money on power bills. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, Never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

Natural light is probably better for some psychological reasons. We are not evolved to be constantly cave-dwelling troglodytes. This is partially why I have installed bright white "natural light" bulbs in our house. A bit too bright for some, but I think it makes the place more cheery.

I love natural light! Sadly, I'm not getting much of that nowadays since the clouds block the sun and it's always snowing or raining, but natural light outshines artificial light by far. Artificial light is too... harsh, kinda.

I used to open the curtains all the time. But since we moved to town my wife has a privacy issue where she does not want anyone seeing inside the house. So now it is not bright and sunny inside.

I love natural light and also open up the curtains on sunny days to let the sun shine in! This is a great way to get a little extra heat going in the house on cold days too! Another reason I like to open up the windows is to see what is going on outside. I love to watch the wild birds as they go from tree to tree or stop to eat at a bird feeder. We also have other wildlife to keep an eye on such as deer, raccoons, rabbits. It's really fun to watch our little forest friends come out to explore our world.

I love natural lighting better. That's one of the few things that has been commented to us is that people cant' believe how much natural lighting we have in our home. I love it! I hate turning on a lamp but that's the way it goes in winter KWIM? Thank goodness we are gaining day light little by little it's good for your sprit & your power bill ;)

I actually prefer lamps. Sunlight gives me a headache, and if it's too warm shining through the house, I may also start to feel sick. That's why we have very thick, dark curtains up, to block as much of the light as possible.

as far as possible i love natural lights . but these days all offices are fully blocked and loaded with wall and curtains!! and thus we are compelled to use artificial lights and inhale stale air!!
