I got some new pajamas, finally. My old ones were atrocious!

I am a very thrifty person and clothing isn't high on my list of important things. For the past couple of years I've been wearing an old pair of my son's lounging pants and one of his old t-shirts. Since he lives 1800 miles away, it was a comfort to have some of his clothes. They were so old that there were holes where the cloth had worn away! I got a gift card for Christmas so I went to JC Penny's and got some very nice leopard print sleeping pants. I couldn't find a pajama top that I liked so I went to Walmart and got a very pretty t-shirt. They don't match but I like them and they're comfortable. I used to prefer nightgowns and still have some but they aren't warm on a cold winter's night! What do you sleep in? Do you prefer pajamas or, if you're female do you prefer nightgowns? Or nothing at all?

I wear my PJ's until they're so worn out they look like they're going to fall apart. I can't help it - it's a mixture of loving them and being very frugal. I start out wearing them at night, and then by morning the bottoms are usually off beccause they drive me nuts and I get really hot. I can't stand nightgowns anymore.

I do the same. My PJ's were full of holes and patches and it was definitely time to replace them!

Nah I rather just sleep naked...it feels odd to wear something to bed at this stage

It's actually healthier for you to sleep with nothing on. If my body were in as good a shape as yours-if that's your picture-I'd gladly sleep with nothing on! I'm an old, saggy lady though and wouldn't want anyone to see all my wrinkles if I had to escape the house quickly!

Like you I am a thrifty person as well. I mostly just have new clothes when it's my birthday or Christmas and they are just gifts or when some of my relatives gives away their old clothes it feels like new to me since I will be wearing it first time. I am not a pajama or night gown person. I sleep with whatever I have on. I didn't get used to wearing pajamas even when I was a kid. I had some but rarely wears them.

I can't bear to sleep in the clothes I wear during the day, they're to uncomfortable. Right now, since it's winter, I'm wearing thermal underwear with fleece pants and a heavy sweatshirt.

I always wear pyjamas in bed unless I have a reason not to! I wear matching ones, cotton and usually purchased from a well know store called Marks and Spencer. I am funny about nightwear. I will often change into my PJs and dressing gown quite early on. I find them very comfy and homely. I bought The Boss some pink brushed cotton ones for her birthday last week. They have spots on them with a silk trim. Very smart! She sometimes wears P1kelet's nightgowns as she (pikelet) prefers track pants and t shirts now.

I usually change into my pajamas around 8pm. You're right, they're very comfy and feel so good! Of course, I have to wear a sweater, too, since it's so cold but I still enjoy being comfortable.

From childhood i have been wearing pajamas but much, much later i opted for " lungis ". These are sarong type where you just pull them over your head and tie a knot with it. They are very loose and made entirely of cotton. Where i live , in India the climate is generally hot throughout the year so these are ideal for our conditions and besides they are very comfortable. Many people here wear them and pajamas too which are loose fitting. During the height of summer i do not wear anything on top as the humidity is very high and i put on the fan to full. I do not have an air conditioner so i have to make do with the fan. In winter which is very mild i sometimes wear a tee shirth which again is loose-fitting.

I looked it up and lungis look very, very comfortable! That would be a good thing to be wearing in the summer time when it's very hot.

I used to wear nightgowns when I was younger. Not sure why it was just what I was given to sleep in so that is what I wore. However, I've switched to wearing a t-shirt and a pair of shorts to bed. I'm not comfortable sleeping naked, nor am I really too interested in wearing pants to bed. I get too hot wearing pants and wake up half way through the night hot and uncomfortable.

I would sleep in nothing, but what if I had to get up and leave the house quickly?! How embarrassing! I keep it about 66 degrees in here so I rarely get hot!

I prefer pajamas. If its too hot, I prefer shorts and a big shirt. If it's too cold, I wear jogging pants or cute pajamas with matching tops. As long as I can freely move the better.

I'm picky like that, too, I have to be able to move around in bed without getting all tied up in cloth!

I have several pairs of flannel pj pants and a few pair of lounge pants. I like wearing them around the house in the mornings and evenings. I usually wear a tshirt with them. I did get a new set, flannel pj pants and matching sleep shirt for Christmas from my b/f. But when I go to sleep I like just the tshirt, I get too hot with the pj pants on.

I have to have the pants, it's so cold here! I keep the house at 66 so it's not exactly toasty. In the summer I'll wear my short pj pants--or maybe I'll get some new ones, my summer pj's are five years old and getting really worn out.

I don't wear reall pajamas. I wear cotton pants and t-shirts to bed. They are more comfortable to me. I never have really liked nightgowns or real pajamas. Glad to hear you got yourself some new stuff to sleep in! Who cares if they don't match.

Since I have nobody to impress, I love sleeping in something that's comfortable. Since I moved from the Southwest to the Midwest (home to me) I dress for the weather and no matter how extreme the weather, I'm so glad to be where I have 4 seasons!
