Vacuum Cleaner 1 Necklace 0  

I know that sound you speak of. I liken it to that of fingernails down a chalkboard... only not quite as chilling.

The strangest thing I got with my vacuum of late, was a cat toy. Thankfully, only a dollar store toy... but still, her favourite. Stick with a string with a ball that rattles at the end of the string. Apparently, the string is NOT strong enough to handle the vacuum going over it. Now we all know.

i have sucked all kinds of things up the vacuum myself.
coins & stamps from around the world was the worst as it was left on the floor not in the case where it should have been unfortunately it was hidden under the edge of the sofa bed & i just didn't see it under there OOPS.

Lol Pikefish that is hilarious Good Discussion, Im sure you will get alot of good and funny answeres here. Well I have sucked up many items with my hoover. The one that made me laugh the most and I actually was a bit scared was when it sucked up a pile of platic bags I had placed behind my trash can in the kitchen. I couldnt get them out of the vacume they were stuck. I think I had to wait for my husband to get home to acutally take apart the whole darn thing to get them out. I have picked up alot more things but to me that was the funneiest. Im sure who ever that necklace belonged to they will understand I just hope it wasnt a diamond necklace.

No, we use clean cloth to clean. I saw something in which the tail of a cat was "vacummed" lol...and the cat almost got such up completely if I didn't see it and turn the machine quicly. It should be left running. Cheers and all the best.

But yes I used to vacuum up Lego Bits, and other Toys and the Kids learned the hard way to put them away lol
Now it is Gissi Chewies and wow does that make a noise lol

You're right, it shouldn't have been on the floor. I have a wee son....yea..I've sucked up some pretty strange things, including small pretty stones, acorns, and miscellaneous bite size treats of whatever origin. Small wheels off of miniature cars, etc. You name it, I've probably had it in the vacuum. LOL! HOw are you today my brother?

when my daughters were little and played with barbies and bratz, they used to bring everything down to the living room to play with and i was always sucking up tiny shoes and whatnot. i could have started an doll accessory store no doubt.

I hope it wasn't anything you bought her it will have sentimental value she may cry and then you will have to go out and buy her another one. I hope you can find her the same one. LOL (darn vacuum cleaners). Have a good day hopefully she wont be too upset.

My Kenmore shows me no mercy here either. I have found the remains of earrings in my reservoir. The phone number of the hot boy in grade 9 accidentally got obliterated in there to the great sorrow of my 13 year old. LOL There is a sewing needles permanently lodged in the nozzle.

The worst was when I sucked up a beer cap that got super suck in the tube. It took open vacuum surgery to remove the foreign object. The investigation into the owner of the cap is on going as I haven't drank in three years.

I hope that the necklace was not too important. However you can hand over the vacuum duty to the complainer.
