Will you wash the clothes after buying it?

If I buy the clothes at a consignment shop or thrift store, I'll definitely wash or dry clean them before wearing them (otherwise it's kind of gross to tell you the truth..)
But if I buy them new, I just assume that they're clean & don't bother washing them.

good question.well if i buy underpants or bra packed or unpack yes i wash it.but blouse or dress it depends the shop.if it is packed i dont wash it but if it is hang there a long time i will wash it.who knows how many hands touching it.

I also wash the clothes that i buy before i use it.I dont feel comfortable if i wear it without washing it.It's more nice if i will wear it clean.Theres nothing wrong if we wash our new clothes before wearing it.

Yes I used to wash cloths even they are new one. Even it is new one it may contain dust because every one before buying use to have a trial...

oh no Youless,I do not like to wash brand new clothes without using it first.Infact I like the smell of new clothes and also the feel.Also some clothes lose their luster after we wash them.So I always like to wear my new clothes a couple of times atleast before washing them..

no i won;t wash clothes before i wear them. i will buy new clothes only and if they are packed i will not wash them . sometimes if i feel that there is dust on any clothes i bought,i will clean them .otherwise i will wear as it is and wash them after i wear .

Hmm I think its a good habit to do that and have heard also to the same he he. But in my home we usually don't follow this I mean at least with mine and papa's clothes don't know about mummy and didi he he. I usually only get pressed my clothes before wearing even if they are new he he..

I would definitely would here. For me it will not only be for the issue of hygiene but to ensure that the qualities are not being discounted i.e. shrinkage, color fast, accuracy of the washing and ironing instructions.

I just feel that this is rather important as these clothings will be worn quite frequently so we will need to ensure that the materials will withstand with proper upkeep.

if i buy them new, i will not wash them. They do that before they will send to the store. And should i wash them? I love that NEW smell. It`s lovely. I wish that some day i`ll find that smell, i love it!

There are some items of clothing that I wash, and some that I don't. I do wash any kind of lingerie, panties, underwear, bras and the like, but Jeans, I don't really care, and I will wear them once before washing. If I buy second hand I of course will wash it, like from a yard sale or something. I also wash towels once before use, because I have heard they are treated with chemicals, and they need to be washed!
