Where's That Can Dang It?  

I usually have the bottles, plastic containers and cans together and sell them on junk shops. I also do that for papers and cartons. I don't compost though. I have a small house and a small area outside my house that I cannot do such so I just sell out my junks. I am not very in to buying recycled products. I just buy what I can afford and don't buy much anyways. So mostly we just buy food.

yup, we sure do. although we are not paid for recycling cans (what a great gig) we are only allowed to put out 2 bags of garbage per household which isnt that great, so anyways, i recycle everything that isnt garbage (we have a green bin for food scraps etc which they take as well.)

hi GrandpaBob, here in Germany you simply have to recycle as much as possible or the trash cans will be sealed with a tape and stay there for ever not being emptied. We have one trash box for paper, big yellow plastic sacks for plastic and packages, have glass containers as well.
There also is a bio trash can but we dont use it as most times this is ewwwww here depending on whose turn it was to clean it a bit when emptied.

Yes I buy, where possible, products using recyclable materials and then I dispose of them in the proper way or re-use myself when I can.
Aluminium is collected seperately here (inItaly) but we are not paid for it (or anything else for that matter). Is there any way that I can re-use it at home?

I never have enough cans to pay me to recycle so I save them up and give them to the fire department who gives them to the Shriners to help children who are burn victims.

I reuse everything I can. When socks wear out I use them for rags, etc. I even use guitar strings that break--I make jewelry out of the ball ends and the strings themselves I use as picture hangers, to hold tomatoes to stakes, stuff like that. If I can't use something anymore I'll recycle it!

We do a lot of recycling AGB - everything from paper to glass, recyclable plastic and cans. We don't get anything for the cans but I think that our council who collect the recycling items do! Niamh likes to 'reuse'things - she doesn't even like throwing out shoes with a hole in them , she tries to think of something to 'make' with them instead! lol xxx

We have a greenbasket supplied by the govermant for all our cans and palctics and another one for cardboards and papers so I do practice my three "Rs"

yes |I recycle and do my part to save this world we are living it, after all it is the only one that we have.

I practice the three R's. I recycle every other week with my regular trash pick up. We all have to do our part.

My son gets the aluminum cans and he gets the money when they get brought in. Right now he has 3 big black trash bags full of them here and there is at least one at my sisters house for him. I need to get them in soon so there is room in my car for all of them.
