Putting the salt with the spoon or Putting the salt with your hand

I use my hands even in recipies that calls for so much amount of salt, I trust my han pinching skills than any cookbook...the reason I do this is because apart from salt, I also ise garlic salt and seasoning salt in my stews and other gravies, so I am the best judge when it comes to the final taste.
