I am a huge Dallas Cowboy fan, and a major Dr. Pepper drinker. I picked up a can of diet Dr. Pepper at school the other day and purchased it just to have the can. I won't let anyone open and drink it.
The can is a commerative can to the Cowboys Stadium. The can I bought has the #8 jersey (Troy Aikman) on it. I wondered if anyone else had seen the cans and if so do you have one with another jersey number on it? I didn't know if they all had Aikman's number or if that was just the only one I'd been able to find around here.

I'm a diehard Cowboys fan, but I haven't seen those cans. I don't drink Dr Pepper much, unless I'm buying it in Texas......the real Dr Pepper. And yes folks, there is a difference. It's made with Pure Cane sugar down there. I'll have to look and see if those cans are being sold in other states.

I'll have to check our ingredients here, because our bottling comes out of Dallas!
I understand what you're saying though. My biggest pet peeve is for someone to ask me when I order Dr Pepper "Is Mr. Pibb ok? It's the same thing." NO it's not! And true Pepper drinkers can tell the difference!

Mr Pibb is no where near the same thing! Didn't realize they even still sold it.

Girl, you know I have a picture of the man on my bedroom wall right? LOL
Mike bought it for me for Christmas last year. It's a game photo of him handing the ball off to Emmett Smith and it's framed and matted and has a piece of his jersey underneath it!

I don't like diet sodas either. I can't have the Nutra sweet because it gives me migraine headaches. I bought the can to have it as a keepsake, since this was the last year the Cowboys played in Texas Stadium.
