Local and state politics, sure. I wouldn't want to be in politics at the federal level though. I just don't think there's much room for independant thought when you go to D.C.

Not only do you need money to enter politics, you also have to have the drive and personality. It also helps to know the law and economics. I don't have any of the qualities needed nor the knowledge.

In the United States, if you vote, you are in politics. If you express your opinion about laws or politicians, you are in politics. If you attend demonstrations (my first demonstration was in 2004 to attempt to delay the certification of California's vote for Bush) you are in politics. Now if you mean to run for public office, money isn't the issue with me. Offer me $10 million dollars, I still won't do it. It is the total relinquishing of my privacy that will make me say "No."

I do not like politic. I want to lead an easy life, have enough money, have more free time, spend more time with my family, and think less about annoy things. To me, politic will bring in a lot of troubles into my life, and that may hurt my family. So if I can I will try to keep it as far as possible.

In a heart beat. Or rather if I had a lot of money I do not think I would run for public office myself....but I would work to help honest constitution loving people get into office.
