Once a week eat fruits

I have started to eat only fruits once a week.At Saturday my wife and me only eat various kinds of fruits and nothing else.No meat,no fish or no,egg.That day we become vegetarians.My doctor adviced me to to do that.It keeps healh fit.I feel no difficulty to eat frruits once a week.You may try.

Ya its a good habit of eating fruits daily.even though if its not possible daily atleast twice or thrice a week.we all wel known that"An apple a day keeps away from doctor".its a good quote and much good for health.i will daily any one of the fruit,atleast i will takr fruit juice instead of fruits.

That's an interesting way of doing it, but it seems like it would take a lot of fruit to fill up. Do you eat fruit along with your other food the rest of the time?
I read that eating a lot of fruit may not be good for us unless we can buy organic fruit because there are so many pesticides and other chemicals on the fruit now.

Does he say that it cleans out the colon and that is why it should be done? I am interested in hearing more. Not a vegetarian for a day, but a fruitetarian!!

Do you have any problem with sugar, that is a lot of carbs in one day. And you said your Doctor said to do this that way? Is there a reason he said to do this? Can't you give one meal or a couple of snacks toward fruit each day? I'm just wondering.

bhanusb it would be wiser to eat both veggies and fruits on that day , and
also eat a variety of fruits and veggies every day all week as you need the vitamins and minerals and fiber of these for everyday good health also lean'
protein and whole grains are a must and milk for calcium too.I am a diabetic and I have to eat lots of lo cal. fruits and veggies plus lean protein and whole grains too.

Hello bhanusb! I know that you're vegetarian. I can tell by the way you post. Fruits are good to our body. I also eat fruits whenever I get a chance and I always buy fruits in the market.

forever.In my home my dad will bring different types of fruits on every sunday.
Every week in my fridge will be their different fruits,vegetables,eggs,fruit juices.
daily i will eat fruits.

i'm a healthy young lady. i do eat fruits and vegetables as a part of my daily diet. there's nothing wrong if you include them in your daily diet. just pick the best fruits and vegetables that fit on what your body needs.just ask your doctor about the best suitable for you because there also some fruits that are high in sugar, some are acidic.

im a healthy young lady. i include fruit in my daily diet. there's nothing wrong upon eating fruit, so we should include fruits and also vegetables in our meal. i eat different kinds of fruit and vegetables, not only weekends but everyday.
