A fresh perspective

When we feel overwhelmed by the scope of our troubles, we may want to think of other people who have turned adversity into triumph. We often gain a fresh perspective when we remember others who have overcome larger obstacles. It can be inspiring to hear of their victories, helping us remember that there is always light at the end of every tunnel. It is during our darkest hours that we sometimes need to remind ourselves that we don’t have to feel helpless. We have within and around us the resources to find a solution to any problem. Lets remember too that if a solution or choice we make doesn’t work, we are always free to try another. When we believe that can get through anything,we always will.

I used to let things get me down but you are so right no matter how bad it seems there are people in the world a lot less fortunate than me so I count my blessings and say to myself it will all work out in the end and it usually does.

Hi whywiki, Excellent thoughts, it always best to count our blessings, and we're often surprised at just how many there are. Thanks for this. Blessings.

Believe or not, the problem or the solution are always the same. The problem is sustained by our point of view and the solution depends on our point of view. The fear of change, the fear of criticism ,and the fear of failure are always creating obstacles in our path.

when i hear of atrocities committed against women,i always thinkof our president,a female, who rose to such heights overcoming the obstacles, where women are downtrodden since many generations.

There is always a light at the end of every tunnel, but all too often its the Train. However don't despair, because there are fast trains, slow trains and antique trains. If you are thinking of throwing yourself on the tracks you'd best pick the fast train, so as to get it over quicker. " Since I've moved to Suburbia, I've found out the purpose of those railroad timetables! Without them, there would be no way of knowing how late your train is." ~ Gregory Nunn ~

You're right about that. When I feel down and lost, I always think that no matter how hard the situation is, there are others that are more less fortunate than me. I am always luckier in every aspect. I shouldn't be defeat by something as puny as obstacles. That way I'll bounce back and continue fighting my way solving the problem.

Thank you for reminding us! It's often good to see these types of situations in order to gain perspective on our own lives. When I see what others have gone through, I feel humbled and know that my situation is not so bad.

Pose- So well said. We always have choices, options, and sometimes the best solution may be one we don't very well like but that we need to do for the betterment of our own life.
