All former Yuwie-ites or people who are thinking of leaving Yuwie, opinons?

i was never on there-friends told me not to bother..
but they said it was slow as molasses some days,and you really didn't make much.
i guess it'd be ok just for friends though,if you could get past the slow.

i had basically joined yuwie to make some new friends and earn some bucks-even though i succeeded in making some friends, i doubt whether they are real people-i mean they really look like their photos in their profile.as far as earning is concerned-i think it was really very disappointing-i spent nearly twice the time on yuwie as compared to mylot and did not earn even half.i wud have continued with yuwie if i cud earn quite a lot there as well.

Sad to say i signed up for this site too. But it was late when i read their TOS and FAQ and the pay is really low for me, and it will be a snail earner on my side so without any questions, i really did not continue participating there.

Yes, the site is too bland, boring and it did not catch my attention because i have been with good sites running in a friendly environment. Although in Yuwie i think it started way back, it has been there but they need to focus on changing or improving the site itself so that member will be interested.

If they want traffic, they would need to increase their pay to members. Anyway it looks the same with other sites, so why not improved it more,do they have any new gimmicks? Happy Mylotting.

The biggest set-back for me with Yuwie is the earnings. I invested a lot of time with the site. I spend more than half of me work time with Yuwie, keeping my account always online, whenever I am in the office, when there is internet connection, when most of the time, even I have more important tasks to do in the office, I kept online, just to keep my account active and in hope to earn fast. But before I met mylot, it was Yuwie. I left Yuwie with nothing earned, but with mylot, I already earned dollars, that really helps me financially...

I was there about 5 minutes when I realised I was not comfortable. To me, Yuwie was YET ANOTHER site to spend time with friends from this site....same as Gather, Facebook, various blogs.

I could not figure anything out re the navigation of the site. I saw that my friends were customising their sites but when I tried I failed. Friends tried to help me but I could not understand what I was supposed to do. My friends were all chatting back and forth, a little more freely perhaps than what we do here but I could not understand the point. As for the money making side of things, well, I never did figure that out from any info at the site I just noted that people talking about it that were doing well had to be very actively getting referrals and keeping them active. I've never been able to do that. I don't understand this affiliate marketing stuff, none of it is user friendly in my opinion. There is no place for beginners and it is assumed that members will automatically know what to do and why they are doing it.

So to me the number one reason was...not user friendly.

I have asked and asked about sites that pay you to click and post and read and put your ad here and bring your ad there etc, but no-one will explain it to me. I hate feweling like such a dummy.

I have wondering why Y Guy not came back to Yuwie? I'm has been sign up a few month ago, but still make a little benefit right there. I don't leave Yuwie, cause by 10% benefit of Yuwie. I interest with their layout, that like old fashion. I am find friends, and not because of money very small. Because, the site not grow up a few days ago. My referrals are not active, and only me was active. The site make me lazy to online, because i have problem with my heavy connection in the site. Too many ads, and flash software.

I basically joined Yewie to earn a little extra money. At least I was lead to believe that you can earn just by being a member. Of course I soon found out that you don't earn a dime, no matter how much time or effort you put into it. I haven't yet deleted my account there, but I can't even remember the last time I logged in to the site. I will get around to deleting my account there when I can find the time.

I deleted my Yuwie just last night after thinking about all of the time I was there trying to actually do something to earn money, but getting nowhere fast. And the spam...I agree with y'all, the spam was awful. I would think that one of my friends had sent me a message to tell me hello or something like that, but all it turned out to be was an ad for some website or other. It was very disheartening.

As for Yuwie, I joined early on thinking I'd make some money for having FUN. lol
WEll, I did find some fun/interesting people there, like yourself. But my exprience other wise has been disappointing to say the least.
I've made about $26 since August of 2007. I USED to have about 500 referrals. I say 'used to' cause I deleted my original account due to the cheating, cliques, recent threats of censorship of posts, and most of all the apparent favoring of one particular group over all others.
Like you, I quickly figured out I would make no money to speak of. Most of my referrals quit or became inactive early on. When approached about why they gave up so quickly, the response I got the most was the 'report for referral' policy that was in place back then. People running around snitching on each other to get rewarded with referrals. Now, the things that got people in trouble when they were reported...are allowed and seemingly overlooked.
So, I kept my profile up...and concentrated on friendships and blogging. As time went on I came up against a certain member, I made him mad cause I would question his 'negative notices' calling women freaks and letting people think he was staff when he isn't. Since my first run in with him...my Yuwie experience has more or less been to defend myself against his lies and the rumors he and his some of his following have started about me.
I deleted my original account when he accused me of writing blogs just for the page views...of being a 'drama queen'. This coming from a member who posts his monthly stats as if they were scripture each month! lol
Anyway...I did go back. Why? Cause I missed the great friends, the blogs they write, the fun we have exchanging ideas and just cause I am NOT a quitter! Now it cannot be said of me by anyone that I am there for page views...I have no referrals and any page views I get will not be paid as I did not give any payment info when I re signed. So...do I love Yuwie? NO...I love the friends I've made there. debrakcarey
