Global Warming Congressional Hearings

Let's make sure no one here's the truth. That seems to be the democrat mantra these days. DC has officially become the town of village idiots.

Just another Hearing that is a waste of time and money. Who ever said Gore was the "Expert" on Global Warming? That title for him is ludicrous. He is not a scientist, posses no degree on the subject, and has not invested years of intense study into that particular subject. The real reason he can't face a debate is because he knows absolutely nothing about it. He just became the leader of this strange bandwagon of people who are merely using his political power to put fear into everyone. This whole thing is ridiculous and another reason why I am not voting incumbent this coming election.

This is just another example of the pure one-sided hatred coming from the left.

Sure, loving the planet enough to tax overweight people and driving coal companies out of business seems a good-natured gesture toward your Earth Mother, but the fact that "they" say it's the truth and no debate is allowed is not only hypocritical, it's criminal.

The left hates any view opposing theirs, and instead of arguing or debating their point of view to convince people of its legitimacy, they simply silence the opposition. It's Miss USA on a grand scale that will affect more lives than it helps!

Before laws are passed on global warming's behalf, it's imperative that global warming is PROVEN to be actually TRUE!

The hypocrisy comes from the assumption that they're right. Global warming is like the left's religion. What would happen if conservatives started passing laws based on religion? "All Americans must pay a 40% God tax!" "You're mandated to attend church on Sundays!" And if you didn't subscribe to the "truth," you would be plastered in the mainstream media, called an ignorant fool and would be considered unfit to hold office. And even though you stood in opposition, those laws were passed anyway. Sinners are taxed more than do-gooders because they're tempting fate and testing God's fury.

How ridiculous is that!?

The left take their causes and run absolutely wild with them, making the rest of us suffer. Well, they call it the "necessary sacrifice." But, of course, the sacrifce comes from the regular, hard-working citizens of the US, not the elitists. The left (democrats/liberals/wing-tips) have been imposing their will on America since the beginning. The rest of us have simply tried to live; the left has attempted to mandate "how" we do so.

The Goreacle repeatedly refuses to be questioned or debated by scientists about global warming/climate change simply because he knows a real scientist would mop the floor with him.

His propaganda has been thoroughly debunked and legally declared a work of fiction, and yet he persists in perpetrating his lies to the detriment of everyone.

Yeah, I just read about Gore chickening out. Only after Monckton flew all the way to the USA, his appearance gets cancelled. On the morning of the Congressional hearing??? How yellow-bellied, and downright disrespectful is that? Grrrr!

Monckton would make Gore look like the deceptive, bumbling, knucklehead that he really is. So, in order to not embarass little Al, and to keep their fabulous wealth generating scheme (Cap & Trade) in the works, the members of Congress have decided to sacrifice you, me, and every other taxpayer. Anything to keep their future personal coffers full of ill-begotten, taxpayer monies!

Swine, that's who's occupying Capitol Hill.

As an aside: I am working with other T.E.A. Party organizers in my state to formulate a rapid-fire action committee to hammer home these kinds of egregious issues to our two Senators & three House Representatives. I would urge others to contact their state or local TEA organizers to add your email addresses to their action lists. When boneheads do what our Congress did to us and Monckton, we can inundate them with phone, fax, & email outrage -- if we're organized. Just a thought!

Just another example of the non-partisan pretend bi-partisan approach of our current government. We'll listen to your input only if you have a solution to reach OUR (the Democrats) goal in an easier and less costly way, otherwise you may drop off your input, but it will land in the drawer or worse trash..

Who coined the term "global warming"? Was it Al Gore? And that is probably why they are calling him an expert because of the book he wrote that somehow talked about the subject.

Why can't they just listen to both experts? Two heads is better than. It would be an interesting debate if two experts would be ask to grill each other on matters of universal concern. I think we should all lay aside political differences in favor of the bigger issue which is global warming because at the end of the day, whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, you will still suffer the nasty effects of global warming. So it is time to focus on the real issue at hand which about our environment. May these men put aside political differences in order to focus on the real issue of the day.
